Oh my goodness. I haven't been to McDonald's in years, but thought I'd treat myself to some. Pah, treat? It was like they shot the burger into the box with a cannon, then shook it up, just to make sure it's properly deconstruction. Looking past the disarray, the size of a "big" Mac these days is much closer to a burger that was formally known as big... Prince would have been a good spokesperson for them as he might have made it look regular sized! The patties - the thinness was astounding, and its flavour was nothing but an amazing feat of meat over matter - was it meat? It doesn't matter! My coke was over half ice... The half full chips, that even when you gathered all the bag chips, still was only half full... Do I regret going there? Most certainly.
Been there four times in twelve months and ordered family meals, 3 of 4 visits they had left me short of a burger or nuggets. Leaving me with the choice to go back or let them steal from me. Don't go through the drive thru, go in and help them count your items because clearly they're incapable. Also stop squashing the burgers into a ball. They should all be fired and replaced with a capable team, starting with the manager.
A disappointing drive through experience. Went through and bought $25 worth of food, large fries came out half full and single cheeseburger was given instead of double. When I parked and went in to ask for my fries to be filled, they told me there were none cooked and the fries that I did have were cold and clearly had been sitting in the vat for too long. If I'm in the drive through, I understand if there's no fries and have to wait. Especially at the time of night I went. They could have said that and I would have been fine, but instead they served me old fries and half-filled the food that I paid for. It was bad service, and disappointing. I would NOT recommend dining at this McDonalds if you want good fast food.
You'd think after so many mess ups and bad reviews, improvements would be made? Charging stupid amounts to add extras to burgers, but not actually putting what you pay for on it. Train your staff to read an order properly. It's embarrassing frankly
Everytime i use this store there is a mess up. So frustrating to get down the water front n wrong items or incomplete. Today requested butter on toasted hot cross buns n nil applied or supplied. So sick of their mistakes n smirks when approached, no joke little princess's!Food: 1/5
Woh should have kept driving! Ham cheese and tomato toastie wasn't even close to cooked the cheese was barely melted and the bread was TERRIBLE still very doughy! So disappointing and as I waited to receive my food I watched the manager banging the food on the counter top... I had ordered maccas cookies on not a great surprise there were some not in one piece! Customer service was non existent, when I asked why I was being handed 2 toasties he and another staff member looked at one another confused and then sought my opinion. Haha sorry I am on this side of the counter and have absolutely no idea! Pull your stuff together Maccas Sandgate you make Central Station, Queen Street and Pac Fair Maccas stores look SUPERB They might be busy but at least they get it together... and know what each person's role is...
I do not eat McDonalds anymore because I know where to get great food! Though, I have been to this store twice so I will review it. This store is quite clean, car park is usually clean and has a fairly welcoming and sizeable car park which to note is usually on the empty side than the full. The food is above standard and great quality compared to other McDonalds stores around Brisbane North. Although, I would love to see some more diversity in the employment selection for this store in particular. McDonalds corporate is at it once again, exploiting youths by junior wages under the Fair Work award. It is really disappointing to see the exploitation of junior wages by a corporate giant and this store. I do not think they employ one person over the age of 35 frankly.
Just came thru the drive thru and the young lass said nothing handed me my coffe I said thank you and she closed the window on me. No confirming my order.. nothing very rude!! I won’t be back there I give a zero star for customer service
Further update, got charged twice. I emailed them from within the app and didn't hear back. 4 days later I called and they unashamedly told me to send them my statement -to prove that I wasn't trying to rip them off. Very disappointing and frustrating. The least the staff member could do was check that 2 minutes after the app purchase I made the same order at the drive through. It's not fast food if I have to stuff getting things fixed 4 days later. ---- 2nd review: Another attempt at McD Sandgate. Further disappointing. Drive thru, app failed, had to make payment at window. Got home, didn't have all items! Burgers obviously slapped together. See photo. 1st review: Reliable, no personality service. Always clean though. If you can, go to Bracken Ridge McDonalds as it so much more friendly and does good work in the community. Also, Rod, the owner is very involved in the resaurant and the community work -which is why I even know his name. No idea who runs the Sandgate store Even though it is my closest McDonalds.
Has to be one of the CLEANIST McDonald's I have been in for along time. Cudos to the manager on duty that day , everyone was cleaning or working.Food: 4/5
