Had a group of 5 for dinner during the peak winter school holidays. Despite the lack of staff in general post covid the staff are welcoming and cheerful. The decor is Thai style with some intricate art pieces that makes the place cosy. The dishes are generous sizing and was nice enough. We really loved the Thai fried rice and the curries. If you get in early have a drink at the bar or a seat in front of the fire. Thanks guys
We ordered chicken satay skewers, sweet and sour Barramundi with veggies, chilli basil chicken and white rice. Food was fresh and delicious. But wish if there was a bit more chicken in chilli chicken dish. Overall good value for money. Inside the restaurant is very nice. Staff are friendly enough. Service was very quick. It was warm inside; thought it would be cold as a few reviewers mentioned. I would go there again.
The food was very tasty, had generous serving sizes and was made quickly and efficiently so it was an overall good experience : The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because it was quite pricey, but I suppose Jindabyne in general is expensive. A lot of the 1 star reviews from customers sound unreasonable, but some of the owners responses were a bit concerning to read. I wholeheartedly believe that a business has every right to defend themselves, however they should avoid being unprofessional as it can be off-putting to potential customers who read them.
Always quick and delicious, portions are decent and staff are great. Price is a bit high for Thai but it's in a tourist town and everything is expensive. Definitely better than the current 3.7 rating
Let’s just say that if the restaurant was in your backyard you wouldn’t open the blinds. The food was extremely small for the price. The tooheys was overpriced aswell. Rather would’ve stayed at home and cooked a dry rissole. Although, if you are looking for transport in the town, Big Justin’s taxi services we’re phenomenal Regards Peter kranitis
Food was so great, that it covered every little mines you can find. Atmosphere is nice. But food.. It was better than in Thailand.Food: 5/5
Pad kee mao and Fried rice is my default takeaway from all Thai places. I really enjoyed the pad kee mao, but the fried rice tasted really soggy and bland
The ambience of the place definitely deserves a 10/10. The interior decoration with various authentic looking antiques make you enjoy the place. The food and drink variety is decent; most dishes had vegetarian options. I found the usage of English cucumbers instead of zucchini in the curries a bit strange. Food was tasty enough. Overall, it was a nice evening.
Our diner and service was excellent. The food was fresh and clearly made from scratch. The service was excellent and fast. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.
Did I dine in or takeout? Well I was forced to take out due to the cooks not wanting anymore dine in. Got dressed up all nice and cute to get to the door, ring the gong and be met with a server who said no more dine in but takeaway. We got there just after 8 so why would we not be seated if they close at 9:30. They had customers in there dining which I feel if there are people eating in, and you look past, you could come in and have a meal. We were planning to have a drink and enjoy the vibe they had going on. We got takeaway and the flavour is great but the portion sizes are whack. Everything is is scaled down. The noodles are small, the veggies are mini. The services was eh. In conclusion the portions were small, the service wasn’t amazing and it made no sense we could sit down and wait for our meals but not get a table and eat in. Edit after owners reply. First of all it was just after 8 as we were confused with why we couldn’t be seated but you should specify outside before we make our way in. The request for a table wasn’t gracious from your servers side not us. We just asked if we could get a table for 4 and were confused when we couldn’t but saw people eating in. Also I didn’t say we didn’t like the wait time. We don’t mind waiting for food and we weren’t glumly, we just chatted. We weren’t offered drinks and if we were that makes less sense that we could have drinks and sit down but not eat in. How about instead of being passive aggressive towards customers, take on board the feedback line other places do. But what do you expect from a place with low reviews and the owner defensively responding. Wouldn’t have written a review if the food was good. But it wasn’t worth the price and wasn’t filling.
