It was my very first time at max Brenner.. I ordered the strawberry and cream crepe.. Absolutely beautiful.. but when she told me the price my heart stopped.. shock!!!!! Crepes were $17 and two regular ice chocolates came to $19 I couldn't believe it.. Beautiful​ flavours but prices unbelievable.. not right. I will not be going there again..
Worst experience!!! I took my partner and 2 others after a great night out, we waited an obscene amount of time for our drinks... There was 4 workers on and they were all just standing around but 1 taking orders, no one was making coffees took 15min for anyone to even touch the machine. The milk was clearly not fresh and burnt after being reheated. Finally our orders were ready to be sent to our table they sat on the pass for 5 minutes while we watched as the worker just stood there with a blank look on his face, we finally recieved our order and it was cold, burnt and bitter. Will definitely not return back to the melton location...
Honestly would give my experience 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 white choc chai lattes. 20 minutes later we finally receive our drinks in huge mugs, even though the place was fairly empty. Then the actual cups they’ve served our drinks in were horrible and I spilt a large amount on myself thank goodness they were not too hot, probably because they’ve been sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes or so. The actual drinks were undrinkable! They were the worst chai lattes I’ve ever had - incredibly watery and it tasted like herbal medicine really. Now normally I’m not the type of person to ever complain; in fact I normally opt to suffer in silence as most people do . But it was the combination of the long wait and the actual drinking experience that made me march in there, asking politely for some help. The girl that served me was very apologetic and sincere. I did not expect a refund and so I asked for a normal cup of coffee latte instead for my friend and I. She gladly granted my simple request. But the girl working on the coffee machine was incredibly rude and said that white choc chai lattes were meant to taste like that, and that my reaction was unwarranted. After another painful 5 minutes, we receive 2 cups of bitter, watery and undrinkable coffee. It’s safe to say that I will not be back there again, be it for dessert or beverages. At least not until some major improvements are made.
Worst and slowest service.If you can, take your business to the Watergardens Branch instead Been to a lot of Max Brenner who were busier and uet we dont have to wait for 30mins for 2 lattes and a cookieshake. Mind you. There’s only 2 other tables, on a Sunday afternoon, 4pm, about 3 staff, 2 of which hasnt stopped gossiping the entire time.
Truly The slowest service ever 4 girls behind the counter and still it took 45 mins for sweets and a pot of tea to get to me at 8.30 on a Sunday night and she still forgot sugar a teaspoon and the pot was hslf full I had to go and get every thing
Burnt coffee Horribly overpriced. Noisy and rude customers sat near us. Friendly staff Nice atmosphere Good decor.
Slow service, over a hour wait for fondue and two drinks. Awful staff and food.
Ordered a hot chocolate came out frozen cause i waited 40 minutes for it to come out, terrible service would not reccomend
Horrible, waited an hour just to get rotten strawberries with our fondue. Definetly won't be going back.
The Watergardens branch is a lot quicker, but the food is still just as good.
