Full on fries watching the raptors game at 11am in this bar, service is great! Good coffee too

Great food. Great service.

Best schnitzel in Newcastle. Panko crumbed with coleslaw made on whole egg mayo. Served with fries and a lemon wedge all for $15 with a free soft drink.

I love Mavericks and am yet to have a bad meal here. Staff are always great and friendly. Great for business meeting or function upstairs. Also great for a family meal also. Great kids meal menu. All rounda fabulous.

Have had nice experiences and middling ones. Food today was decent if expensive for lunch.

Personalise service and worth the trip in from the Upper Hunter. Would recommend for a night out for cocktails or a meal.

Great live music, low lighting in the right areas, fast and receptive staff, friendly patrons and well-cooked-tastes like it should food!
