My wife went to get her bloods done. 1. The phone number doesn’t work: it simply doesn’t ring. She had to physically go into the centre to book the appointment. 2. She has hidden veins: even after she informed the pathologist/nurse that she has hidden veins she insisted on letting the trainee draw the blood. After several failed attempts and a bruised arm the pathologist blamed my wife for not drinking enough water. My wife suggested the pathologist use the butterfly thingy and the pathologist dismissed the suggestion and insisted the trainee had failed to draw the blood because my wife hadn’t drunk enough water. I left a similarly toned review some years ago about the pathologist sleeping while patients queued up the reception area. It’s as if because they are located in a low socioeconomic neighbourhood they do not care about bedside manners, professionalism or doing the job properly.
My pregnant partner booked an appointment for 8 am arrived 10 minutes early just to get told that the booking is not actually a booking and she gets told she going to have to wait in line before everyone else when she already has to wait two hours when doing her specific test and they reception said they are only allowed to do 2 a day which means no one else’s would be sitting in this place for 3 + hours what a joke this pathology is what is the point of booking an appointment if you can’t stick to it people have lives as well and book appointments for reasons
I find they're usually pretty good. Depends on which phelbotomist you get. But staff are friendly and get the job done quickly.
Took my 2yo for a blood test there. Very much satisfied. High professional staff, no long waiting time.
Long waits saturday morning dont recommend
Never answer the call, tried calling for last week but no response.
