I was looking for an activity to mark a milestone and decided to do the climb and zip while visiting Perth. Clime and zip has been operating for quite some time but I hadn't met anyone who had done the adventure so was keen to experience what it was all about.nThe staff were very friendly and encouraging of a great time. They were young and full of spirit, fun and knew exactly what they were doing in terms of safety, enjoyment and procedure. That was a good thing as it was a fairly grey rainy day all up but our spirits were kept up.nA short walk after fitting harnesses and learning some simple procedure.nAll our personal gear was safely tucked away in a locker for us to access whenever we needed.nnThere were good toilet facilities and some shelter inside.nnIt was good to learn some history of the river and about the design of the bridge and some Aboriginal stories as well.nI've done zip lining before through forests and climbed the Sydney Harbour in Brisbane Storey Bridge. This was similar but slightly different type of adventure. I really enjoyed it. The 75 km zip was a buzz.nnGood for families or couples and it's great that they include all your photos for no extra charge that are emailed to you after the event.nI would certainly recommend it for a bit of fun. A good idea to book in advance as it fills up quickly.nThanks for a fun time guys!
A not to be missed activity in Perth for those not scared of heights that is..nFrom the word go, the staff were very professional & helpful and it is clear that safety is a number one priority.nnI headed on the Zip+Climb tour, the guides were very friendly & knowledgeable about the local area.nNow, I’m in no way a fitness freak I’m at the higher end of the scale when it comes to the ‘weight limit’ but even for me the climb up the 312 stairs to the viewing platform was easy - I put myself at the back of the group for the climb as I didn’t want to hold anyone back but I found myself keeping up with the group no problem at all - it’s a fairly slow climb taking in the views and listening to the guide talk about the local area - it’s more than just a Zip+Climb, it’s also a great guided tour.nGroups go up the bridge in a maximum of 12 so it doesn’t feel busy or crowded up there at all.nnPhotos are taken at all steps along the way which the staff sent out promptly to my email along with a great video see photos attached.nnThe Zip line down was GREAT fun nAll in all, 10 / 10 for a great experience which I will definitely be recommending to friends & family that visit Perth & would definitely do again myself - the only thing is, when I booked I had to book waaay in advance as it is that popular - so if you look on the website and see a free date that suits you don’t hold back on booking as booking slots fill up quickly.nnCheers to the team at Matagarup Zip+Climb for a great experience
Me and my dad did the full climb today, was so much fun and the views are incredible! Hamish and Ella are so good at there jobs guiding everyone through and had so many interesting facts. I wanted loads of photos and they pulled through!nHighly recommend
That was fun! And great views from the top. It's one of the best activities in Perth. You must try it!!! Josh and Jackson tried too hard so we remember their names... The whole team was friendly and very supportive.
Awesome view, great friendly and supportive staff, Kate and Charlie, with a nice quick zip rush. Only did the short climb, not the full climb, and the zip. The climb up not hard going my folks in their mid 60's - still young!, zip line fun, short and sweet! It is a bit high, but no reason to be afraid!
