This has to be the best Middle Eastern restaurant I’ve ever tried!!! we are here visiting from Melbourne and decided to stop in on our way home. We tried the Mundy lamb platter. It was absolutely divine. The meat was so soft on the inside and had so much flavour and was Crispy on the outside while the rice was full of flavour and was salted perfectly. We also tried the tea which was absolutely amazing and had so much flavour it was spice with Anasta other herbs and had no milk. We will be visiting again first thing next time we come to Sydney.
One of the best Mandi in Sydney. Their lamb was very soft and succulent but it was not seasoned enough to penetrate all the way to the bone. Chicken Mandi was more flavourful.
The restaurant is excellent, and the food is incredibly delicious. We tried various dishes, including lamb shoulder, chicken, lamb shank, and Madfoon, and all were fantastic. The rice and salads were also great.nnI highly recommend this place, especially for groups who enjoy Yemeni cuisine.
Really enjoy the Lamb Mandi. Rice and meat amount was sufficient for 5 ppl , we took Lamb Mandi Deal. Food exceptionally delicious and rice had enough juicy taste. Don’t miss the red Spicy sauce with rice if you love the spice. Very clean and well maintained restaurant. Love the sitting arrangement and decoration.
Mataam Al Mandi in Merrylands deserves a solid 5-star review for its quick service and delicious Madfoon meals. The Mutton Mandi is particularly noteworthy, bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked rice that keeps you coming back for more. The staff is attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable and efficient. However, be prepared for crowds during peak hours; it can get quite busy, making it challenging to secure a table.
