Bought a cake, ate it at home then found a white long hair inside the cream. Brought it back to the shop the next day. Got a refund. But No apologies from the cake shop’s owner/worker. No attitude. I will never go back to the shop.
Nice as it is. But I noticed that for the last 4 years, the size of the bread, pastries and also the egg tarts have shrunk remarkably . . . . ! Is this the way to make more profit in these difficult times ?
Why say you open at 9am when you don't? Then when you finally do there is nothing to buy or browse? Also the staff are rude and need to take a class in attitude readjustment. Poor service at it's finest!
What a gem! I think this place should get recognised a bit more. The cakes are so well-priced, honestly they taste as good if not better than a lot of cake shops around Perth and yet the price is like 60%. Well done, guys! I will return for sure. Try the Swiss roll, a pure bliss!
Possibly the best egg tarts in Perth! Not too sweet, and that pastry just melts in your mouth! Absolutely delicious. And at only $2 each, I could eat a dozen in one sitting! Looking forward to trying the other baked goods on offer. It's a small shop at the Coventry markets - really a hidden gem!

Amazing hidden gem for sweets with oriental twist. Must try hokkaido cakes and matcha slices!
