Our experienced staff take care of your pets, using only natural and environmentally-friendly products. To give your pet the best individual care, we have a limit on number of bookings per day, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

5 REASONS TO USE MARU MARU

1. ANY DOGGY HAIRSTYLE YOU LIKE

Please let us know your preferred style, from simple to creative cuts, all done by our experienced Japanese groomers.

We do breed specific cuts, or browse through our style magazines if you want to try something different.

2. SKINCARE AND HEALTH

We use specially selected shampoos & cleaning products so we can match the right product to your dogfs skin care, hair care and flea control needs.

We also take care of your dogfs health, with toenail clipping, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, and so on.

3. LOW-STRESS GROOMING

We avoid using cages so your dog can play freely and socialise with other dogs.

We can arrange grooming times so that young puppies or older dogs can be done quickly, or nervous dogs can be given longer so they get some breaks during their session.

And unlike the production line system used in other salons, we have one groomer responsible for one dog for its whole grooming session (except for busy Saturdays).

4. MID-WEEK GROOMING-WHILE-YOU-WORK

We open 8am to 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday, so busy working owners can leave their dog early in the morning and pick them up after work, with no extra charge above the grooming service. (Socialised and small to medium-sized dogs only)

5. LOYALTY CARDS FOR REGULAR CUSTOMERS

Get a Maru-Maru Loyalty Card so you can enjoy a 10% discount if you return within 6 weeks, or you can collect points to get a frequent user discount.

The owner and staff are lovely, friendly and understanding. It was my dog’s first time being at a groomers and they made sure to clarify all information about my dog and what we were after prior to commencing. When I went to collect my dog, she was very happy, playful, and relaxed despite not liking other dogs. She looked amazing, the trim was very good, her fur was pristine and had 0 matting. The price is amazing for the service given and I would come back again! Highly recommend Maru Maru and thank you for the adorable scarf xx

Seems very friendly and great reputation. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a booking as they’re currently short-staffed and not taking any new clients. Still felt like a 5-star interaction, and I hope to be able to use their services fully in future.

Best place to bring my precious Yorkie, Vida. We have been coming for years. They always take the best care of her shes quite geriatric so she needs a bit of special care   Love the festive bandanas, etc that she comes home with post groom.

3-star rating - Disappointing Customer Experience but hey let's give them benefit of the doubt  On the website it says they provide grooming service to any breed. Here is a summary of what happened today: 1. We called them this morning and the lady on the phone said they would not consider taking big dogs until after October due to policy reasons my dog is a Samoyed weighing 28kg, she then asked if we wanted to make a booking after October. 2. We said yes and asked if they were willing to accept a booking in November, they said it would cost $300 minimum, we said that would be alright but then the lady almost immediately said their schedule was full in November. 3. We then enquired to see if they could make it happen in Dec/ Jan. The lady took a few seconds then said they would only take return customers during festive season.  Huh? wonder what would happen if my dog were a toy poodle, ay?  We felt that the treatment was unfair because clearly they did not want to accept a fluffy dog, who understandably requires more effort to groom. Instead of directly expressing their unwillingness to take a Samoyed, they came up with different excuses within a 5 minute call. Despite the fact that they tried to charge a premium price, which we accepted on the spot.  That being said, we hold nothing against their grooming skills, we believed they might be good groomers, that's why we tried our best to make a booking in the first place. However, they gave us a very poor customer experience.  They could simply have said "your dog is too fluffy and heavy, we could easily earn more profit by taking a Schnauzer" no offense to any Schnauzer out there... that could save us a lot of time.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. Best dog groomers in the area. You need to book in advance because everyone knows it.  Domo arigato. Will see you soon

The staff are so kind and give Archie sooo much love, he loves getting a groom at Maru Maru  and he always leaves smelling like a fresh little coconut!

Happy dog .. happy owner. Have been going here for six years & tried another place but went back to Maru Maru. Staff are polite, kind & accommodating.
