This place is a family favourite - I always pay these guys a visit when I’m in town to see my family. The wood fired pizza oven was on tonight - mum & I shared the prawn & calamari pizza & it was so good. Didn’t think we would be able to finish it but we did! Service was great as always. Ambience is always friendly.
Upmarket pizzeria Kensington road entrances, steps on one side, next to a ramp. So caters for all. No car parking I could see. In the front of the business, you see an outdoor dining area, bench seating and table style. When you go inside, the takeaway section is what you see first, friendly staff greet you. Walk through to the inside dining in section divided into two rooms and more friendly staff behind a bar, including pizza wood oven covered in metallic tiles. We had lovely Margherita pizza with prawns added, cooked to perfection. From the photos of this place online, I suspect there is parking somewhere, just couldn’t work out where and forgot to ask. Happy staff are a good sign. Full house is a good sign. Well run business Good amount of fresh mint with mojito, big tick.
Unreal. Pizza, pasta, ribs and drumlettes were awesome. My wife who is gluten free said it was the best she's had. Thanks Frank and the team. Do yourself a favour and go!
Their pizza is the best takeaway I’ve found in Adelaide. The best part is the rich generous sauce, and the pizza tastes amazing both fresh, or cold the next day.
Simple meal. How hard can pizza and garlic bread be? You think? Rude millennial who told me it was MY FAULT for choosing Uber Eats as a delivery provider and it was not their fault that a pizza and garlic bread was 45 minutes late. School boy should go back and do more work experience.
Came here last night for a family catch up. Great pizzas. Pizzas are Cooked to perfection. This place has a great atmosphere. They need a bigger dining space as a lot of people walk in expecting to get tables and they have to wait cos they are fully booked out and busy
Such a clean kitchen and the staff were pretty fab. Watching them hand stretch dough in the open kitchen was great fun! Delish! Thank you
I wanted to shout our table a round of drinks before we ordered but the waiter resisted splitting our bill. Fine, but why not make this policy known to us when we made our reservation? Point-of-sale software in this day and age readily allows restauranteurs to accept payments from diners who wish to pay individually or as a couple. None of us had any cash, and it was unfair to expect one person to charge up their credit card to pay for the entire group booking. Our waiter’s attitude left a bad taste in our mouths even before we ordered and so we left and ate elsewhere where it took less than 3 minutes for 9 of us to pay for our meals.
I love this place but sadly not up to the standard that I’ve come to expect from them. Not terrible, just average. I will come back though before I write them off as they are normally very good.
Yummy pizza and great wine! Would definitely go again.
