The food at this bowlo is exceptional. Vegan dishes are delicious. Steak sandwich melts in your mouth and the Fatoush salad is just wow. Band last Sunday was top notch, King Pins, lots of people boogying on the big dance floor. Friendly staff, good vibes out on the lawn. Kid friendly too. Lunch deals until 3 pm. Our new 'local' when in Sydney.
Ahh the Marrickville Bowlo.nnYou couldn't ask for a more quintessential locals local.nnThe beers are cheap, the security lax..shoes are optional. The grub slaps $15 Parmi on a Monday!, the staff are legends and the place is the biggest mixed bag of lollies going.nnFrom ramshackle locker-rooms covered in graffiti, to the gaudy 70s roof and the generational flotsam of bowls, brooches and bogans gone by is hard to miss!nnOther noteworthy features include: the only stained glass you'll ever see of a jacobian having a roll, a shrine to former Sydney major Gladys, the locals smoking corner and last but not least the omnidirectional beer holder with UV blocking screen - a piece of Australian ingenuity I've never seen elsewhere!nnThere's daily food specials, and live music throughout the week. Come for the sunshine, stay for the view.nnSupport your local - get a dog up ya!
Lovely vive, friendly staff. Close to public transport. Some bands may not like the lighting, but I really enjoyed listening to doom metal under the mirror balls.

A wonderful space for great bands! Richard Ball always makes it sound like a stadium.nJust a pity it is so hard to get regular club members to pay even a small amount for tickets for the musicians.nAlso, could the Club PLEASE do a bit of publicity for the hard-working musicians. A couple of scribbles on the blackboard by the bar is really underwhelming.
