Small cozy restaurant with really nice romantic ambiance. Pretty lights. The spinach wrap with goats cheese was good and crispy. Quite a decent sized entree. The bread was buttered nicely and baked to crisp which went well with the gravy. All the lamb dishes were really delicious. Tender meats. They're all quite heart warming dishes. Portion is quite huge. One pot ideally to be shared between 2 ppl.
Flavoursome dishes, whether you order the meat or vegetarian dishes. We had a shared entree of 3 dips and pita. So yummy! We tried a lamb dish, chicken dish, and vegetarian dish. The servings were generous, the dishes we ordered was easily good for 5 people there were only three of us. They also serve "pulled tea" and it is quite interesting to watch. They can be quite busy so it is best to book in advance. They can be flexible with bookings and can cater to requests whenever possible. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes were very flavoursome.
A must-try restaurant in Adelaide - all dishes had flavorful and fresh ingredients including imported and freshly ground spices from Morocco with generous portions. The manager was passionate, knowledgeable, and gave us great recommendations. A truly delightful dining experience and we would definitely return for more!
What an absolute delight this place was for us! From the authentic food, impeccable service we were blown away. Absolutely felt as if we’d taken a trip to Morocco for the evening. It’s a spectacle in itself to order the mint tea and watch it being poured! The rose water offering at the end of the evening was divine. What a treasure, lucky to have experienced this in Adelaide.
We went there based on the rate. The food was delicious, the waitress and the manager were kind. She helped us for ordering and explained us the difference. The manager brought us an ice cream as a gift. The ice cream was delicious too and I added the picture to this review. Happy to go there again. Also, regarding the price, two plates of main course which were enough for 4 person, plus two saffron rice, two lemonade drink, totally around 100$. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp
Excellent experience, the food was delicious and fresh. The staff very friendly and welcoming. All food Yam , book your table before . We didn't book ,but was very busy waiting time longer . I am visiting SA for a few days and must to try when come to SA
Fantastic restaurant! Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Staffs are super friendly. Having mint tea served after dinner was absolutely great experience. Love this place.
The delish authentic cuisine, cozy atmosphere, great service & hospitality is what makes this Resto an absolute gem and for sure we will always comeback! We do love that they showed us their tradition & the rosewater wash was so lovely! Oh gosh the bread was so addictive! It is one of the best breads that we have ever tried. The Lamb, my gosh it was divine and the fusion of all flavours will give this meal a 10/10! My husband and I had so much fun here and the host was really entertaining. Everything was so good! Thank you everyone and thank you Chef.
Marrakech Restaurant is a North Adelaide gem. The staff really want you to enjoy the food and the atmosphere and basically want you to take a trip to Morocco. The food is always excellent and the serves are generous. Definitely try the stuffed bread! Lovely staff. Vegetarian options: Yes. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Parking: Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Squeezy. Dietary restrictions: Most people would be ok.
Every dish here tastes so yummy. I particularly love their afrah tagine, couscous and fresh mint tea. The afrah tagine, the lamb meat is so tender and the prunes are such good combination for this dish. Their couscous are full of flavour. The hot mint tea, so soothing when have it hot. The portion of each dish are reasonable. The staff are all very passionate and friendly. There were two birthdays on last night and it was fun to see how they helped to celebrate. The only suggestion I would make is that, the hot mint tea does come in different amount in each glass. It would be perfect if everyone has the same amount as it is such a beautiful hot drink. Overall a very pleasant experience and really enjoyed the food.
