"There is an energy about Carrum restaurant Freddie's and there's certainly charisma behind the owner Farid “Freddie” Mansour. The warm setting inside mixes rustic fittings including chandeliers, with modern furniture and the classic Frank Sinatra playing in the background only adds to the ambience. The coffee is made with “passion’ which is exactly what the business has built on. Open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and is fully licenced restaurant / café bar. Coffee available from 5.30am to 3pm. For Dinners from 5pm to late. Come say hello to Freddie and the staff!!!"

There's something about Freddie's that just reminds you of some old school charm... the decor - a touch nostalgic... with lots of space for small or large gatherings. For me, it oozes warmth, especially when the service is filled with smiles. The place was pretty filled up when we arrived around midday, ordered fritters, and pancakes. They kindly explained, as their renovations are in progress, their kitchen is a little limited from their regular menu. Nevermind, we enjoyed the dishes all the same!! And we will love to return to try dinner here too in a month's time. Wishing your team a smooth transition til renovations are completed. Thanks for a great lunch in the meantime!! Much appreciate your kind service!
From our first time coming to our 20+ time coming we have received fantastic service. They are always friendly and happy to have motorbike riders come to this venue. We are always greeted with a big smile and being told it's great to see you again. They are so accommodating if we arrive with a few people or a group of 30+. Freddie him self is such a warm welcoming gentleman. The food is ALWAYS on point and we never leave there hungry. The price of the food is reasonable which is wonderful. To top it off thus place has the BEST rocky road by far, you can't help but buy extra to take home. Recommend this place.
We’ve visited Freddies Kitchen on couple of occasions and both of them are great experiences. Nice coffee, lovely breakfast and friendly service. One of the best venues around Bon Beach and Carrum. Will definitely be back
Freddie's is without doubt the nicest Cafe I have ever had a takeaway coffee from. Actually it's not a Cafe it's a home. The staff are really friendly, the menu is extensive and the coffee is superb but what made my heart sing was the decor. Old timey lighting, furniture, ornaments, mirrors, phones, suitcases, pictures, all displayed perfectly! Such a warm inviting place, There is lots of seating inside and outside, either on the street or out the back in a beautiful courtyard. I LOVED it! I will definitely come back.
Humming little cafe a short walk from Carrum station. We sat outside because it was so busy . Great food, exemplary service and licensed. We had fish tacos - succulent fillets on a delicious bed of salad & coleslaw. Asahi beer & coffee to wash it down. Will definitely be back - thankyou Parking: Plenty of parking at station & along Nepean Highway when we visited.
Good ambience and super friendly staff! Also great location close to the station. Pork Belly was amazing! Coffee was good. Will be back to try the dinner options.
Freddies Mushroom Gnocchi are a hit and I will come again for that. The place is beautifully decorated, has a nice atmosphere, good service and prices are not prohibitive. 5 out of 5 Extra points for being open but not crowded on Good Friday. Kid-friendliness: Fish n'chips, dinosaur nuggets, bolognese, pancakes, schnitzel for kids $8-$11
Update. Went for breakfast this time. Smashed Avo. Looked and tasted great. Definitely worth coming down for breakfast this time. Great service and pleasant staff In for a coffee and catch up with a friend. Never been here before, but has a good atmosphere, and the coffee great. Alot of locals and bike riders in there today. Popular place. Then again alot of places closed for summer break. Will. come back for breakfast one day as only 25min from. my place and close to beach.

Fantastic experience at Freddie's Kitchen! The decorative aesthetic is beautiful and the booths are nice & comfy. We came in for breakfast, were so pleased that we came back again. The waiter was incredible! Which is what prompted this review. He greeted us, "welcome back" and even remembered our orders, all while smiling. Made us feel so welcome and comfortable in the midst of a move out, probably for the best because we'd be here every day if we weren't flying out tomorrow! Great vanilla chai lattes, awesome atmosphere & exceptional hospitality!
