I can’t thank North Hire enough, I hired chairs and tables from them for my baby shower! They were super friendly and super helpful. We have also hired stuff from them for an event this weekend!  Definitely will use them again in the future.

Was verbally abused by the owner upon returning hire equipment. He also wouldn't refund deposit for hire. Would rather do any future work at home with a shovel and bucket than support your business. Absolutely discussed!

Disgusting business practices.  Agreed on a hire price and a return time and then on return of equipment at the agreed time, we were charged an extra $150.  Rang to talk to the owner, Bob wouldn’t discuss with me and he hung up on me.  Thumbs down

A complete disregard for social distancing in the middle of a pandemic.  Got a quote over the phone for a one day hire on a SDS MAX drill/bit, when I got there later that day he raised the price by about $10. When I got to site I opened the box to find that the bit was missing teeth. I sent one of the boys into drop it off the next day. He took a second day's worth of charges out of the security deposit without asking or even notifying us about the extra charges. I when in to query about the extra charges the following day only to have him make a scene and physical put his hands on one of the boys. It's unprofessional and completely uncalled for anyone to be manhandled in a work environment... especially in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic.  Cheers Bob from Mareeba Hire.
