I would highly recommend this place if you are into learning for about history and culture. Its nice place and has very friendly staff. You can also hear the audio history. And the ticket has 3 days validity with price of 5 dollars.

A lovely place for exploring the history of Mareeba and nearby region although the exhibition is a bit messy in turns of how the curator display the collection. The ticket is 5 AUD per person

Very well compiled non-profit museum featuring history of the era. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of displays to view and loads of information. You could walk around for hours and not take everything in. Admission is only $5 for an adult and for children up to 15 years admission is free. Admission covers 3 days admission. There is also a good cafe out the back for you to have a break. Also excellent stock of souvenirs to take home.

We decided to turn around to try the cafe, not specifically for the museum. The cafe staff were so friendly and accommodating, scones and drinks were delish! Museum exceeded expectations, so many things displayed brilliantly with great explanations. With the small contribution of only $5! I will definitely recommend. Thank you.

I enjoyed learning old lifestyle and ended up staying for couple of hours! There was a charging spot as well, I found it very helpful
