We were lucky enough to visit on a cloudless, windless day.  What absolutely amazing views. Kudos to the people who look after the lighthouse, very nice. Well worth the drive.

Finally it only took me 65 years to get to this side of the Manukau Heads. What a fabulous place.A must do road trip. Its remote but you can still see Auckland City.

Nice spot. Nice restoration job done on the lighthouse. Worth the long drive to get there. Would I take visitors there? Probably. A track down to the beach would take it from 4 to 5 stars

A little piece of history surrounded by rolling hills and stunning seaviews. Well maintained walkways - a relatively easy walk uphill, even for grandma! 20 minutes druve to Grahams Bay an Big Bay and only  an hour and half from Auckland. Lovely outing!

We all loved visiting here. Well worth the winding roads. Definitely should be a place to visit.

great place to go inside the light house and look over the beautiful view of west aucklands west coast.
