Best courthouse in the country. Greeted with the utmost professional service by the first point of contact security who pride themselves in professionalism and vigilance. Extremely big court house so clear signage and staff are able to assist if needed. Also has the same coffee shop from years ago, which says something about culture and small businesses in the district as well.
Nice building, easy to find, good location.nYou have to be careful with parking.nRainbows end carpark is convenient but they don't open for the public during school holidays.nShopping mall carparks have a time limit and a lot of people get infringement notice.nDrive further past the police station there's a parking lot for 99 cars fills up quickly.n,.....nGood luck and have fun.
Let’s face it: hardly anybody goes here unless it is literally required by law. But, as government buildings go, this one is quite nice. The country’s busiest courthouse boasts high ceilings, spacious courtrooms with the modern frippery of large windows that let in natural light, a large central courtyard for vaping. If you’re going to interact with the criminal law anywhere, it might as well be here.
This place is so big and overwhelming. The security guards definitely do their job and make you feel safe. The customer service from the ladies looking after family violence issues however is not as good as it should be. They should be helping people not make them feel incompetent for not completing forms correctly. More training I feel is required for the staff so they can make people feel comfortable to share. After all these people are seeking help and sharing their personal and private issues with strangers. No matter how many people have come through to the counter, each person should be treated with care and support and respect. If staff members have issues with a person, don't take that out with the next person that sits down in front of them. These people are seeking help and guidance they don't need to be looked down on and judged.
Talk about a hike just to get in front door as for parking well there is very little. Staff are great
