Unfortunately got the old room, ask if you can stay in the renovated rooms. Only positive thing about the room is it is spacious. The vent in the bathroom was very dusty, and the curtains need replacing which was dirty. Too bad the reception are closed on weekends to ask to move. Great location, pay a little more to stay somewhere else if they can’t put you in the renovated rooms.

Definitely can go back. Had a weekend there. Secure and clean place. It had a big room with one double bed and one single, balcony, full kitchen and enough area in the living room - dinning table. Recommended for less expensive options and mostly if the intention is not to stay there but to go around Adelaide. It is well located also in the city, close to everything needed.

Excellent location, very attentive and professional staff - Julian at the front counter was amazing. Briefed me quickly on where to go , what to do and was just super efficient. The rooms were great , big and airy - older style, but I quite liked it. I'll will be bringing my family back to stay in a few months time to see more of beautiful Adelaide and S.A. I will be staying at the Mansions on Pulteney ! Need I say more.

I stayed in a room facing a very big an noisy building under construction about 5 meter away from my room window. I asked to be moved to a different room and they said that I would have to pay for the difference and it was about double the price. I then asked for a refund for the following nights and they said that they wouldn't do it and that there shouldn't be an issue with the noise because it was only a daytime issue from 7am to 5pm. The noise is not only an issue when you sleep, I don't want to be in a room were there is loud machinery noise going on constantly for ten hour a day. The hotel would not give me any compensation. This room should not be available for booking, it's ridiculous.

We spent one night at mansions and I couldn’t deal with it. Absolutely disgusting! My husband had to buy window cleaner to clean the dirty windows, there was dust everywhere and apparently we had “one of the best rooms” we asked for a upgrade they wanted to charge an extra $40 per night... we asked to be moved to la loft on nth tce, had to forfeit 3 days of a 15 night stay. We then stayed for another three weeks and spent over $4000 in accommodation. Mansions charged us a $100 deposit and we are disputing with them to get it back as they claimed it was never taken... we can’t speak highly enough of Kevin la loft north tce but Richard at mansions needs some cultural training on how to deal wit bc customers that are Australian Citizens than have a Canadian accent!! Very poor management on his behalf and we are appalled with his behaviour!! DO NOT STAY AT MANSIONS ON PULTNEY!!

Reasonably priced for the location with very clean & spacious rooms and friendly staff. The only shortcoming with the rooms was the aircon in my view one unit for large rooms meant the unit took awhile to cool down in summer. The premises is literally around the corner from Rundle Mall and only 3-7 min walk to the Museum and Royal Adelaide Hospital. Our last stay was for 3 weeks with the kids and yes we will be returning. Parking options include paid parking across the road at Wilsons. Eating options are plentiful with restaurants and fast food shops all around the area and within walking distance.

Stayed there recently with my family, during the statewide blackout. The staff were super helpful at all times. Some of the rooms need renovating, and this is not the place to stay if you are expecting a five-star modern hotel. Instead, if you want a beautiful and unique hotel, with fantastic staff, right on Rundle Mall, I'd highly recommend the place.

If you want to stay in Adelaide and be close to the city these apartments might fit the bill. These are old renovated apartments with a little more space than a hotel. I think they were first built around 1911. Walk 20 metres and you are in Rundle Mall. Priced reasonably and very clean.

I stayed in this dated small room with one bed in the living room! However the price and friendly service and sugestions the lady at the front desk gave us made up for it. Plus the building is quite old and renovating would make it the same as all the others. Thanks for a great stay guys!

Had a two night stay at Mansions on pultney, great location, friendly staff, very roomy apartment, separate bedroom, lounge dining and fully self contained kitchen, all at very reasonable ratesRooms: 4/5
