Fit for Kayaking, SUP, bush walking, bird watching and picnic. Lovely playground and renovated bathroom.nOn site parking is $8 per hour, $40 for all day. Or you can park on the roadside in the nearby residence area and walk around 10minutes.
We were pleasantly surprised by the treasure we found in this walk… along with terrain and vistas changing in different segments of the walk… we were blessed to come across a colony of glossy yo black cockatoos!!!… was simply a surreal experience… recommend this to anyone who wants to go for a medium difficulty walk with hidden treasures…
Lovely walking track loop with water views, wild flowers, birds chirping… also some parts are a bit not easy for some people especially from the top Northtowards the eastern part.nThe western half is more beautiful with 2 beautiful waterfalls and less difficulty but currently the water side track is closed because they upgrade to it.nSome app said it’s 3hours circuit but we finished it in 2 hours 10minnWanna go again.
Beautiful scenery, multiple trails available. Lots of birdlife, insects and water dragons. Two swimming areas, one with ammenities. The collective weight of stupidity can get high however, parents failing to properly supervise children around water and swimmers venturing into motorised boat zones is common.
Manly Dam is really beautiful, gorgeous walks and swimming spots. Could do with more signage, parking is also expensive $10 an hour and despite seeing a review saying it was super dog friendly it definitely isn’t. You can only stay on a very specific walking track with your dog and they are not allowed in any picnic areas or swimming areas so wouldn’t recommend taking them on a hot day.
