This review is to sellmycar.com.au which is either owned by Manheim or hired by Manheim to do the dirty work. it's a rip-off team that is hired to take your car for almost nothing if you want to sell it on the auction site, otherwise, you are not allowed as an individual to sell it through them, then they sell it on the Manheim auction for profit which was originally supposed to be for the owner of the vehicle then they charge a big fee to the purchaser as an extra layer of profit. I don't get how the government lets companies ruin the market like this. unbelievable
This is a very dodgy/scam company. Avoid them!!!. Have tried to bid on multiple cars, their online platform logs you out as you try to put the final bid on so your forced to loose the item. They clearly have 'mates' they line up cars for. AVOID MANHEIM AT ALL COST. Very dirty company to deal with.
Got a car with multiple damaged panels that were fine in the photos. Out of pocket for picking up the car then they want me to deliver it to them before they would refund me. They didn’t show me the car till I signed the paper work. Drove it on to the street and straight on to my trailer Statutory write off btw.
Booked an appointment to collect my belongings from my recently written off car. Was directed to the back to look for it, only to find it wasn’t there and the girl at the front realised this but didn’t stop me and just let me look fruitlessly for it. They then had me drive to another location to find my car because their staff hadn’t actually brought the car to the correct location for my appointment. Staff at the second location then tried to give me THE WRONG CAR despite me telling them the number plate MULTIPLE TIMES and then told me they couldn’t help further. Absolutely appalling and incompetent service.
Bunch of arrogant employees from the gate to the receptionist…I came to this place to collect my belongings and was treated worthless. Lady at the reception checked my appointment for just a second then denied me access stating that the appointment wasn’t made, I spoke to a second receptionist she also was rude and chose to support her colleague when I was addressing myself even before she heard what I was going to say…my insurance called them and they found out I was right, surprisingly none of them even had the courage to apologise. A very bad experience of my life time
