I ordered 2 beef burgers for me and my son yesterday and unfortunately they were pretty undercooked. We couldn’t stomach it and didn’t finish them. I know beef patties can be served medium rare but we simply couldn’t stomach this. And by the time we realised / actually eating them we were too far away to turn back as we were only visiting Mandurah for the day and don’t live there. A bit disappointing as we were so hungry & looking forward to our meal.
We came here for lunch at around 2:30 on . Ordered a small seafood basket and three large snapper fillet.nSpent A$40 for 3 persons. Generous portion of chips. Fish were ok not fantastic.nWe were chased out by 3 pm when the shop assistant informed that she has to close for lunch. We had to scramble our food outdoor.
For a specialty Fish & Chip eatery, most of the fish variety are out of stock. The only fish options left were Hoke, Barramundi and Snapper left.nnWe ate at the shop.nnThe fish were sliced quite thinly. Both the fish and batter were wet and soggy.nnChips serving was generous but only lightly fried. Nice thicker cut chips but should have been fried perhaps at higher temp or for longer period of time.nnPerhaps it's an off day for Mandurah Foreshore Fish & Chips.nnBut my family and I would not be returning here again.nnCicerello would probably be more consistent in the quality and variety of food delivered.
Love this place!! 100 times better than Cicerellos and much better value. Fed a family of 5 to bursting for $70. Crispy, moist seafood, perfectly cooked and fresh.nReally nice, down to earth staff. It’s just a simple place but it’s our favourite in the area and we keep coming back!
Yea i dont understand why its was so highly rated. The taste of the fish and chip is more of batter than fish. The same oil is used to fried the chips. So they both taste the same. Chips and fish are dried like pinnacle sand. You have to spray vinegar. And to have tar tar sauce or any sauce need extra $$.nnDont recommend here for anyone. Give one one star to service as I asked for baramundi, the waitress lied to me saying its out of stock. But other people getting.nnPlease dont waste ur time and calories here.
