Great little Korean restaurant in Cairns. Staff were friendly and the food was delicious and very cheap with decent serving sizes. Can recommend the dumpling rice bowl which had delicious crispy dumplings and noodles and rice, with fresh salad.
Great little Korean restaurant close to the Cairns centre.. We've been back twice for their $10 lunch specials which is great value for a quick feed. Do try their dumplings as well as it's really delicious.Food: 5/5
3.5 The full menu looks great but the kitchen closes shortly after lunchtime so you can’t leave it late to order more complex dishes. Would have loved to try out the kimchi soup and cold noodles. We tried the two dumpling types and the kimchi rice bowl. Both dishes were average. The store aesthetic is nice and the staff are friendly. It can be quite windy outside and the seating inside is subject to what time of the day you visit which I found kind of strange.
Well ,we end up here because next door Ganbaranda Japanese was closed one day we were there . So, at Mando we had 3 bulgogi , deep fried chicken pieces, spicy chicken, bowls, mando. All average street food quality. But good news, the mando was tasty amongst our female critics. As always post wherever your palate takes you. Please reply if you’ve been here.
Already come back twice for their cold noodles and lunch specials, tried the kimchi and pork dumplings today and it was also nice! The staffs and chef were always friendly. Will come back to try other dishes for sure :
Our takeaway order was a bit disappointing. I was craving some fried chicken and don’t get me wrong, it was tasty but $40 for 10 pieces?! And then, sprinkle a few fries and dumplings to make it look fuller… Not really worth it in my opinion.
Love this place! Lovely people, incredible food, generous serves. We ordered the galbi and kimchi dumplings, a bulgogi rice bowl, and a bulgogi hot pot for $44, and had left overs to take home. Sweet, just the right amount of spicy. Highly recommended!
Beautiful food and lovely staffs, had my best Cold noodle soup in here, a must visit place if you love Korean foods.
This is the $10 lunch special ! It is very hard to find $10 meal in town nowadays. It is really impressive and yummy!
Koren looked good for lunch. SERVICE Pleasant and prompt FOOD Delicious and large servings Pork dumplings ~ full of taste Chicken Teryaki ~ Really yummy Seafood Kalguksu ~ really enjoyable. OVERALL Lunchtime specials most economical Did not disappoint
