Went to Mandi Al Arabia for some mandi, and it absolutely lives up to the hype!nThe chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the rice was perfectly spiced and aromatic. Everything came together beautifully with the chutney, fresh curd, and crisp salad — each bite was pure satisfaction.nThe portions were generous too — we ordered the half chicken mandi, which says it serves one, but honestly, it easily fits two people. Plus, they have plenty of portion options to choose from, so everyone can find their perfect serving.nThis is proper, flavorful mandi that leaves you full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
Big portions sizes. Value for money. The rice was very flavorful. The lamb was so tender and delcious. The baklava was so fresh. Authentic food. Came all the way from sunshine coast. I would highly recommend this resturant. The seating area is also with private divisions.
The staff were really lovely. We ordered the chicken and lamb shared platter and the rice was so flavourful and the protein was delicious. 10/10. I can see why there are such high reviews. We will be back for sure. Thank you!
Food quality was decent, but portion sizes, especially the rice, have decreased. The new seating arrangement is awful—it feels like eating in a cramped internet cafe with zero privacy due to the cabins on both sides. To make matters worse, I was forced to sit directly facing a very unrefined person for 30 minutes. It was so uncomfortable that eating on a footpath would have been better. Food is good, but the overall dining experience and environment have completely gone downhill.
Had dinner with family at Mandi Al Arabia on the way back from Dream world. Service was great, restaurant was clean and food was awesome. First time having proper lamb Mandi in Australia which brought back memories of authentic tastes of Middle East. Loved your food! We ordered chicken + lamb Mandi … and boy that lamb was tender and succulent and melted in mouth. Great portion size. Also they recommended “Lab e shireen trifle” for dessert which we enjoyed. Had separate family rooms which was great ! As mentioned to the gentlemen who was kind, friendly and also very helpful at the counter I think the owner can’t wait to see you guys open in North Brisbane !!! Best wishes!
