Visited this restaurant for a family dinner and we had a pretty average experience. Whilst the venue was beautiful, with a lovely view of the harbour, the food really didn’t meet our expectations. The dishes are is served in very small portions, so it might not be ideal for big groups or they’ll have to add extra to each dish. Some dishes I’d recommend include the wasabi prawns and stir fried cauliflower with Chinese sausage. We also quite enjoyed the green bean soup for dessert at the end. Would not recommend the sweet and sour pork ribs though as it didn’t taste very fresh, the meat was quite tough.
This is the prefect place to go if you want to experience some traditional Chinese food that will leave you wanting more. A great venue with, really friendly staff who are more than happy to recommend dishes and can even make you something special that's not on the menu. Definitely one of Melbourne's hidden gems
8 Feb 2023 Bbq roast pork spare ribs Pic 2 is served cold and totally different than the picture in the menu. Soup taste average. Lobster with egg noodles is good. The clams some are fishy and very chewy, and some are fresh. Quail is good Scallop and veggie are nice too. The bad point is the services here. We are still having our appertizer and soup, and suddenly, our lobster was out. Luckily, there's a nice gentleman there asking me if I would like to hold the rest of the dishes before we finish our lobster. Maybe I did not request that I would like to finish my appertizer before coming out the main dishes. They just throw your eating plate like they are rushing. Is like eating in Chinatown at small restaurants where they don't really care to serve you. We finish 2 bottles of wine. They put the wine in the middle of the table. We need to pour the wine ourselves. I really don't mind doing that, it is a common thing for me, but I see another table where there's 2 foreigners, they refill their glass wine and they put their bottle at another table. Why did we get a different treatment ?
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal The Saute Scallops with Fresh Cream was a pleasant surpriseThe XO Pipis with Roti Bread, Wasabi Mayo Prawns, Lamb Ribs with Cumin & even the Dry Scallop with Egg White Fried Rice were yum
One of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been. Was amazed by the quality of its food, will definitely come back
Great location great view, the food is beautiful presented and tasted so good. Highly recommended the dessert, yummm
5 of us from interstate went to this restaurant for the first time, without a booking and had the most amazing meals which started with a mixed entree and shared meals to experience and taste different options. The food was superb, the service was friendly, attentive and professional and we will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne. It is hard to find a traditional Chinese Restaurant nowadays but you definitely provide that and more. Thank you for fitting us in
Absolutely magnificent. Beautiful ambience, great service, & outstanding food.Food: 5/5
Outstanding restaurant, every single aspect of this experience was A grade. From the friendly waitress, the gentleman who I assume was the manager to the chef’s magical cooking, absolutely loved it and will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne. Thank you team outstanding!
We had dinner last year, because the view outside the restaurant is very good and you can see the fireworks. This is a Chinese restaurant. The lobster and seafood sashimi is very good. The fried egg white with scallops is also worth a try. The stew is a must try. Sugar water, I love it super or it’s free, hahaha, I ate three bowls in one go, but each person can only get one bowl, I ate all my friends that night, very satisfied, very good. To come for dinner, you must book a few days in advance
