Had a sizzling chicken& squid. A little spicy & nicely seasoned. Always nice to have side dishes & rice with it. Calming & nostalgic environment to dine in.
It’s not like other modern Korean restaurant offering Korean Fried Chicken. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, finally walked in for lunch: - food arrived fast - nice ambiance - sizzling squid is delicious A couple runs the restaurant, seems authentic to me I would love to go back and try other dishes
I'm a big fan of Korean food and this Korean restaurant is by far one of the best I've tried. Very authentic Korean food and it's simply taste from the heart. If you want to try good Korean food, I'd recommend trying this one for sure.
Checked opening hours - says open till 830pm no mention of closed for break times. Got here and they’re closed from 3-5pm for a break. Frustrating to say the least Update Went again the next weekend during opening hours. Ordered the dumplings, yukehjang, and bulgogi. The dumplings were good pretty standard, the yukehjang was missing some key ingredients so didn’t quite taste like the ones I’ve had in Korea. The bulgogi didn’t have a good balance of peppery and sweet, was underwhelming and the cuts of meat were quite chewy wouldn’t recommend either. To be honest I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here and probably wouldn’t if I was in the area either.

The steamed mandu was so good! And the fried one was delicious as well!
Visiting the area, we had dinner here and it was amazing and authentic. If you love dumplings the pans fried pork is great.
Best Korean restaurant that I ve been to in Auckland! Amazing Kim chi dumplings and soups! I go there with my husband and friends almost every week and i rarely eat outside from home. Service & food excellent! I started to like Korean food thanks to this restaurant!
Pretty neat Korean joint that serves delicious dumplings. I've been here a couple of times now and both have been pretty good.
Cant go wrong here if you love Korean food. Kimchi is good, nice side dishes and decent size meals. I had the BBQ pork on a bed of egg with vegies. Very tasty. The pork had a bit too much fat but otherwise cant complian. Very friendly staff and attentive.
