If you love good food and great service, this is not a place to miss. This is my first time to the restaurant, so I wanted to try everything and with the friendly waitress’s. recommendations. Definitely recommend this restaurant cosy and great food selection.
What an absolute gem of a find. Incredibly delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and really kind service. Such a sweet mum and pop restaurant. Will definitely go again. Everything we ate was so good !
A lovely family of various generations that is utterly welcoming in all facets. The food here is cooked from the heart & it translates to the divine Indonesian dishes on offer. Prepared to each order, you'd wish you found this cute little establishment sooner. Servings are generous, value is evident & you'll leave very satisfied in all aspects. No matter which part of town you reside in, make the journey to Mamaku & you'll find yourself being a loyal customer in absolute no time.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and experience here with my wife. Lovely owners and authentic Indonesian flavours that tastes and smells like home South East Asia. Can see ourselves being a regular here in the years to come.
Mamaku is a beautiful family owned restaurant with a gorgeous atmosphere that feels like someone's home. The owner and staff are all lovely people, and the service is great. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the rendang sapi beef curry with coconut rice and it was delicious! The beef fell apart and the curry fragrant. It tasted similar to massaman beef curry, except much more spiced/fragrant and more coconuty flavoured. I'd 1000% recommend ordering it. We also had the mie Goreng with chicken and vegetables. I'd also recommend that dish, it was super delicious and a great side to have with the curry. The only thing I'd want to change/do when I come back here is ask for more vegetables in my mie Goreng and I think the curry would taste great with carrot so I'd probs ask for carrot haha. But those are all personal choices. Great portion sizes as well! I hope everyone come checks this place out, especially because it was my first Indonesian food experience. And I'm not sure how I'll top it now that I've had it you guys set a great benchmark
Great food! Authentic and delicious. Customer service was welcoming. Feels like a family run restaurant. Clean and cute little space. Definitely one of our local favs! Amazing laksa!
Me and my wife's go to place when we need comfort food. As an Indonesian I can vouch that the taste is 100% authentic. The food brings me back memories when I was still living in Jakarta. I'm a regular and the taste of their food have been consistently good. The lady always treated me and my wife as if we're her own kids. Always giving us some extra free food. If I can give 6 stars I would! Their pergedel, nasi goreng spesial, ikan balado are our favorites! My wife always pair the food with a glass cendol.
Phenomenal traditional flavours, tastebuds fulfilled. Best Indonesian cooking in the southern Hemisphere Combination Nasi Goreng + porkprawn balls + dynamite chilli.
Enjoyed my Laksa Bebek and es cendol. You can ask for the food to be spicy if you want. For menu, you have to scan the code to see it. Hope I'll get a chance to go again and try their other dishes.
Highly recommend ! The restaurant had a really cozy and homey vibe, and the fried noodles were absolutely amazing . They were cooked to perfection and had plenty of yummy toppings, without being too sweet. What really made the experience stand out were the owner and the female server. They were super friendly and made me feel really welcome. Definitely will back again!
