Between my parents and i, we have been here for almost 14 years.Our Menu is pretty big.We offer Pizza's, Salads, Coffee, Milkshake/Thick shakes, Ice Coffee/Ice Chocolates, Now offering Charcoal Chickens, Lasagne, Pies/Sausage Rolls, Roast Beef, Roast Pork and Hot Chicken Rolls, Fish, Chips, Hamburgers, Steak Sandwiches, Fish Burgers, Chicken Burgers, Veggie Burgers just to name a few. We do cater to celiacs our chips which are cooked in their own fryer are Gluten Free and Halal as is our gravy. We have a variety of sauces for your burgers and for people who don't want their burgers on bread or toast we can put it in a container for you.And lastly we do have eftpos."

Best local takeaway by a mile! Everything is always fresh and the staff have incredible worth ethic. Love this place, everything we’ve tried has been delicious and the chips and chicken salt are spot on.
Regularly go here for the best chips around. They are also GF and can confirm that our resident coeliac has had zero issues eating them so no cross-contamination.
We didn't realise that the store closes at 7:30pm as we were visiting a friend who just moved nearby. Instead of politely informing us that they close soon we got pretty much a harsh yell of "Are you ordering food or not?!". I get everyone wants to head home as soon as their shift ends, but that is no excuse tbh. Thanks but I don't leave work just to deal with rude people. Won't be back and have no good reason to recommend. All the best though! Hopefully you guys can improve!

I consider myself a repeat customer at this take away in Kippax. Food has always been great and service good. Tonight I decided to get some takeaway, so picked up the phone and placed my order for the pizza that I normally get. Just a little after 8pm I went in and collected my order and drove home by this time the shop management was in the process of closing for the night. Upon opening the pizza box I discovered that the pizza was not what I had ordered. I decided to call back approximately 8:27pm...just 3 minutes before the shop closes for the night, to let them know that I received an incorrect order. I spoke to the owner who was extremely apologetic for the mistake and offered to make me another pizza even though they had closed for the night. I was very touched and impressed by the customer service that was shown to me. So not only is the food great, but after the service that I received tonight, I have to say that this place has exceptional customer service as well. Keep up the great work and making yummy food.
Amazing. Favourite take-out hands down. Friendly owners and staff, great food. And just a really nice environment for Aussie take-out. There's even a sweet little set-up for the little ones when they come in with parents so they don't get bored or hyper... just a genuinely amazing people. Best scallops in Australia too :
Edit: Wow, thanks for such a courteous and professional response. You're an asset to any public relations team. Will be happy to try you again! First visit, last visit. Ordered a pizza with chicken bacon and pineapple which is a "BBQ chicken" from their menu minus mushrooms and onion. A BBQ chicken costs $14 and they charged me $19. I left and double checked the menu as that seemed high, confirmed it should be $14 so went back in and asked about it. They said I "ordered wrong" and in the same breath queried how much change I received as though I was trying to cheat them. I paid with Apple pay so no change involved! The place also smelled faintly of homeless people, I don't know if that came from the other clientele or the shop itself. Whichever it is, not going back. Just moved to the area and scoping out what's going to be my regular takeaway place and it isn't this one, will have to keep looking. The actual pizza was nice enough, a 6/10 I would say, so giving a 2nd star.
It's quicker to catch your own fish. What a disappointing experience, if I could make this review zero I would. We ordered 2 crumbed fish dinner packs, the lady serving us was lovely but failed to take a name which is how their walkin order system works. She advised it would be a 25 wait. We came back at the requested time and our order wasn't even on the board, when we asked the front desk woman, she tried to find out when the order was due and the owner said it would be ready when it's ready. Another customer came to get their order and apparently they'd given his order to someone else. They blamed that person rather than taking the blame, even saying it's such a long wait sometimes people don't wait. They continued to take orders, saying it was a 45 minute wait, when obviously it was longer. It was over an hour when we finally received our food, it wasn't worth the wait, there was no lemon and no chicken salt on the greasy and soggy chips, the pasta salad was bland. While the amount of food was reasonable for $15.00, I won't be returning.
I have never had a bad meal here, and I've had quite a few! Real pizza, not that cardboard stuff from the big chain stores, with just the right amount of everything and a perfect base. The fish and chips are always cooked just right, and you get lots of it. And the potato scallops...yum! Honestly, I think it's the best take away in Canberra.
Been going here for 35yrs, seen owners change many times but now the original owners daughter owns it, its back to good food and jumbo burgers.
