Been coming here now for over 4 years, and has never let us down. Great authentic Malaysian food that is so close to home. Great flavours and the staff are always friendly. Get there early or be prepared to line up. When it’s very very busy there can sometimes be a wait for food.
MKR you have gained a new fan! Such an authentic and tasty Malaysian food, I had no idea about it until someone recommended this place to me. The five of us had all the followings: 1. Nasi Kandar Special - the best nasi kandar I’ve ever tasted in Melbourne. Very generous portion and really cheap only $19.9, one is too big for me and could probably feed two people. 2. Mee Goreng Mamak - also the best mee goreng, no exaggeration needed. Really good spice and heat level, can also taste the wokhey. 3. Nasi Goreng Mamak - not as great as the other two but my family enjoy it very much, kid friendly as it’s not as spicy 4. Roti Planta and Roti Telur Keju - perfect roti texture. Really cheap and tasty. Will be back for sure. I’d like to try nasi lemak next time.
Delicious authentic Malaysian restaurant. Nasi kandar is the best, generous portion and full of flavour. Nasi goreng is another delicious item on the menu. The place is not too big and can get very crowded easily. But you can always order for take away. Highly recommended!
The wonderful smell you get when you walk through the doors takes you back to the hawker stalls in Malaysia. The dishes are wondefully tasty and authentic. I had the fish curry, fried chicken and roti and both were yum
First time here. Very simple setting, 5 tables, could do a bit more ventilation. We had Curry fish, Roti Cheese, Nasi Kandar Special which consist of chicken, Eggplants, fish and beef...basically bit of everything. Milk tea was very nice. Food is not spectacular, portion is adequate. Very busy place. Better suited as take away instead of dine in.
Hands down best nasi kandar in Melbourne! Flavours are truly authentic. Friendly service. The special combo allows you to sample a little bit of everything which was a great option. Only drawback is the limited seats that they have so be prepared to wait for tables
