Had their Penang Fried Noodles and Rendang Rice. Rendang was moist, not overcooked, and full of flavour.
“Ini sedap!” Very yummy spicy laksa noodles, perfectly flavoured and delicious soup with prawns, fish balls and tofu. I’m a Malaysian girl who misses home and am satisfied. Mum enjoyed her Penang fried noodles too. Terima kasih!
Just had beef rendang and laksa today. My partner's well familiar with malaysian food so she was disappointed over the lack of taste; watered down and not-malaysian at all.

If you like Malaysian food or want to try some, then the Malaysia Delights Riverside is is good place in Christchurch to give it a go. It's a casual atmosphere here and the staff will help you choose a dish to suit. The roast duck or the BBQ pork are both really nice. The place is clean, well maintained with very good service.
Beef rendang was bad, i'm sorry to say : I don't mind if there are cuts of fat, but i'm put off the big chewy hollow arteries. The flavour was watery & weak. Rendang is supposed to pack a big punch! I didn't see any star anise or hint of spices.
Truly Authentic Malaysian street food. Must try the crispy pork and dumplings.
Delicious noodle only with $13. Friendly staff and the service was fast. Highly recommend to everyone.
