Great weekend vibe, welcoming and safe for families. Often there are free activities available for kids. Good selection of food stalls, local produce, health and wellness and local handcraft items. Live music is excellent to sit back and relax to while under the famous red umbrellas watching the sun set.
Fantastic and unique food stalls, in fact, some of the best not just in the Northern Territory, but in Australia. Great set up and great music performers every single time. Great space to bring kids as well as they have a space for kids to play. I would rate it even higher if I could. In one word, brilliant. It encapsulates the very best of the tropical part of Australia.
First time to the market and was really impressed by the variety and quality of the food. And the vibe was great, lots of tables, lots of people enjoying a Saturday night out. Seemed very community oriented which was great. If I am in Darwin again on a Saturday evening I will definitely check it out.
Cool breeze, music, food and market stands a lovely friendly small market :
Great community focussed evening and local foods, skills, art, and entertainment showcased. Had a beautiful feed outdoors with live acoustic music under the stars. Hope to do it all again.
Nice little 'foodie' market not many other stalls but if you enjoy eating this is a must visit...lovely little red umbrellas in the central seating area. Usually have musical entertainment
Caters for the yuppie-vego types, but has a few meat options. Expensive, compared to other markets in Darwin, but the food & drinks are all very tasty. Usually has good music. Plenty of parking, tables, chairs, & shade. 4 to 9pm, Saturdays, Dry-Season.
It was really nice,I recon it's a lovely place to go with your family and have a good time,so many good variety and those foods are amazing
Best food out of all of the markets in Darwin, hands down. Saturday nights. You need to get here early if you want your choice from all of the menu items from each stall as they tend to sell out of some things really quickly. Local organic produce for sale. Popcorn for sale, pretty much everything else isn’t the typical market food. Pretty sure I saw people drinking beers here, too... pack a couple and head down.
It’s yearly market also in Darwin, I like this place, quiet than mindil, has tables and chair for dine in, when you enjoy eat you can also enjoy the music in front of you like in the cafe, the minus only few of seller, no various food can choose,
