Went to the cafe. Delicious treats and better than expected value. Chocolate shop had some amazingly yummy offerings. A tad on the pricey side.
Probably the best macadamia chocs and other treats you will find. We always pop in if in the area to stock up for the family and friends. The brittle is to die for.
Love Makana Confections. Buy them as gifts as well as enjoying them myself. Food at cafe is great. Make a good cuppa.

Average, those who’s been to Greytown will understand what I mean. We got Irish cream truffles- there is no Irish cream taste in it. Another one we got was assorted fruit chocolate- half of them were not that great. For that price you’d better buy yourself a few packs of ferrero
Called in on way home from Kerikeri, glad we did. Huge selection of products, always difficult to make choices. Gelato and milkshake, perfect combo, filled the gap expertly. May have to return...soon.
From 9:00 open is very nice for us to have breakfast at restaurant. They offer not only sweets also meals for breakfast or lunch. There are many tables inside and outside.But it could be busy around noon in weekend.
