This is a beautiful venue, with a decor and attention to detail that makes the most of an impressive space. Food was lovely. Having enjoyed both their breakfast the GF breakfast bowl with pomegranate was very special and their tapas. Friendly service, great quality and a very good selection of produce and products in their deli. Would love to see the chai tea back in tea pots I'll be back :
Brings Petersham to life and about time!! Quality goods!! Qulaity frozen goods! Meals, great coffee!! Restaurant is fresh!!! Owners take care of everything!! It sets an example for good old fashioned customer service!!! Loved it, felt comfortable! Even a florist! Go all the time and I live in south!!
In a space once known for theatrical performances, the Majestic brings sophistication and elegance to dining and shopping. This repurposed art decoesque space contains a fishmongers, fruiterer, fromagerie, deli and more. Special treats rarely found elsewhere include bourbon flavoured maple syrup, locally produced honey and a range of other locally sourced goods. And they serve breakfast, lunch and dinners too. Attentive service in great surroundings.
Booo! Puts the $'s in pretentiou$. I've been in here a few times to give it the benefit of the doubt and every time it leaves me feeling annoyed. The quality is so far below the amazing stores around the area. There's the life changing ham and fantastic fruit and veg from Arcella. Amazing coffee just around the corner at the counter and grumpy barista, or a quick walk over to Brighton on the corner. And the deliciousness of Sweet-holy-moly Belem! Two thumbs down for not keeping it real in an otherwise fab neighbourhood.
A local gentrified grocer with pricing strategy to match. Not shy about charging $40 for a bottle of handcrafted maple syrup, or $6 for a packet of powdered tomato soup mix with non-English packaging.. A variety of things on the shelf, but not too many that could be combined to make dinner. Save this place for special purchases.
Breakfast worth checking out, baked eggs, salsa and cheesy bread was nice.
