Everything we ordered was so yummy! The owner is very nice and welcoming. Great service and food! What a nice surprise
Really genuinely stoked at this feed. I don’t go out for dinner much, been let down a lot but this place was unreal! I had the green curry, and it was incredible how they balanced the aroma with the perfect level of spice to create a really delicious high quality green curry. I have to mention the service, I did ask for some recommendations and help with the menu and the server asked me what I liked and how much spice I enjoy instead of just throwing random suggestions out. He gave great recommendations and even suggested his favourite Thai beer which was unreal. Checked in on us and made sure everything was sweet. Cheers for the food! Was unreal and we will be back for sure
I'm reluctant to leave negative reviews, but this felt like a real letdown. The curry puffs are clearly filled with frozen mixed veggies, and I couldn't taste a trace of curry flavour. The Thai Goreng I could swear was packaged Indomie mi goreng noodles with some, to be fair, fresh vegetables added - seriously though? I know the last few years have been rough on hospo, but this is dissapointing.
Ordered last night and the restaurant cancelled the order after letting it sit in the system for 20-30 minutes. Order had not yet been assigned to a delivery driver. Update 28/09: Issue is still ongoing and only seems to happen at this restaurant. Order will sit in “preparing your order” for like 15 minutes before being cancelled. It’s a real shame because the food is quite good.
Guys, if someone unsubscribed from your promotions, you cannot keep adding them back onto lists - it’s illegal. Your food was not great the first time, no number of unsolicited discount vouchers is going to get me to come back.
The food is really good, and they are fríe dly enough to deliver it themselves. However it can be very pricey, which is a shame if the dish wasn't that great. Regardless, a good restaurant.Food: 5/5
Thai beef salad was chewy and overcooked. Massaman beef curry was like watery soup. Will not order from this place again.
A casual spot with an almost homely feel to enjoy some tasty Thai dishes with fast service. Within minutes of placing the order the cook? with a hairnet and gloves brought out level of tenderness and flavour. The duck curry was so delicious and deeply satisfying. Slices of duck were beautifully cooked to the right level of tenderness and flavour. The seafood curry was creamy and tasty with generous amounts of seafood. Paired with fragrant coconut rice, this was a scrumptious and filling meal. There was only one other table when we arrived. The place and menus look like they haven't changed for a couple of decades. Tasty food, polite and efficient service ensure we'll return when we just want a simple, good value meal out.
UPDATE: the owner reached out to sincerely apologize and make things right. I really appreciated the gesture and was happy with the resolution. The crab fried rice has been taken off the menu. This was fast, amazing customer service and I have changed the score to reflect that and how the food has otherwise been. Thanks Mai Thai. We've had a couple of decent meals from this place, but won't be ordering again after tonight. I had the crab special fried rice, which was just inedible. It reeked of fishiness and the whole dish was gritty like it had sand in it. Only a few tiny pieces of bland crab with bits of inedible shell still attached. The rice was bland and mushy. I had to throw it out because we couldn't stand the smell in the apartment. I know restaurants are under a lot of pressure right now but that's honestly the worst thing I've ever been served, no exaggeration. I love crab fried rice and had it many times the last time I visited Thailand. The other parts of the meal were pretty average. The chicken was way overcooked on both our stir fry dishes pad Thai and chicken cashew. The food was also over an hour late, but the delivery person was very apologetic and we appreciated they were very busy.
Great food and service. Very attentive and lovely people. Food was delicious. Not a fancy looking place but would definately come back again and again.
