Nice beachside cafe that seems to be one of the better options in Rye. It was pretty packed when we visited. Coffee was really nice and juices were made fresh to order - always a good sign. My partner had a burger which was really juicy and my fish and chips were tasty and a good sized portion.
Maggie’s is the best! Fantastic coffee , there chais are so delicious. Super friendly staff and their food is scrumptious. I come here everyday, can get busy over the holiday period just like every other place down here but worth the wait. Thanks Maggie , Bob and staff. :
Great coffee and a wide selection of breakfast items. Sandwiches in the case look good and are nice. I always get the big brekky which has heaps of bacon. The juice bar out back is a nice bonus too with reasonable prices and the ability to create custom juices.
Perhaps a bit busy on the middle of Christmas holidays, but the coffee wasn't that great, kind staff and nice food, we only had breakfast so can't say too much about it. Good quick stop although next time on town prob will try somewhere different. Make sure you got first to the ATM cause is "only cash"
Good food, good lattes, and good personality. Maggie's is a great place to get a quick and tasty beach breakfast. I got the smoked salmon focaccia and my partner got the big brekky. Both were delicious and after we ate, Maggie came by to see how we were doing. Awesome!
If i could, I would put no stars. I ordered a simple coffee and was waiting for 15 minutes. What's funny is there were no people at all and when I asked the older lady where's my coffee she answered in a rude way "your coffee is coming".
Fish served up raw inside, twice , even after sending first meal back. It was ice cold inside the fish fillet. Rather disappointed esp since staff didn't even come check if everything was ok after first complaint. Waste of time and money.
Omg never eaten anything so vile in my life!! The food tasted rotten!! Greasy eggs, Sausages cold! Fly in salad...need I say more?! Do yourself a favour and do not go here!!! Should have paid closer attention to the sign outside of the shop which stated that the store was up for sale!!
A nice cafe where we saw the locals come to. They had all the papers available and a breakfast menu all day! Shame they don't take card but I had enough cash anyway. Nice cafe and happy people
Food ok but quite small portion even though I ordered the big breakfast. Coffee... can't complain. Very slow to get food. Only one person doing food even though place was not busy.
