Easily one of the best biryani's I've had in Melbourne. Perfectly balanced flavours of south India. I tried the Chicken 65 as well, it was well seasoned, crispy and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were friendly. Guess I'm going back for more this week!
Simple, authentic, and tasty south indian food with great service.
Homemade South Indian taste, if not very close to it . Amazing biryani , chicken 65, beef fry and the best fish fry. Almost everything I have tried has been delicious . Indians who taste the food here would know what I am talking about. Great service . Never disappointed. And the portion or the number of meat pieces in some of the dishes may seem minimal compared some places , but it is very reasonably priced. Hence I think it is a fair bargain . Must try !!
By far the best Biryani in Melbourne! Fantastic, authentic Indian food. Biryani is extremely delicious, and a must have. The biryani comes with complimentary eggplant curry, which is a dish in its own when it comes to flavours. Delicious mouthful with every bite. Have tried every item from the menu, and loved it. Home cooking at its best.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. I just love their biriyanis, pepper goat and the latest dish I tried - the beef roast which forces me to write this review. I haven't experienced anything else closer to a Kerala style beef. 5 stars from me.
Amazing food! Feels like you are back in South India! I must say this place makes one the best Biriyanis in Melbourne if not the best! Try the chicken 65 and the goat pepper fry! You will not regret it! Every dish was spot on!
Authentic South Indian dishes made to perfection! Do try the Goat Pepper Dry Fry. Also do try the side dishes, the Eggplant Curry is out of the world. Give it a go & you'll come back for more. You need to try this place; without a doubt it's one of the best in the town.
$14 for chicken korma with only 3 tiny pieces of chicken and very watery gravy, not even enough for one person. Pathetic size serving and waste of money. Lucky there are so many other great Indian restaurants nearby that offer good value for money and delicious curries.
I think Madras Memoirs have the best South Indian Style Biryani in Melbourne. Wonderful and Tasty, they are consistently good.
my first ever review ! just couldn't resist from writing... madras memoirs from outside the place looks deceiving... but every dish was top class authentic and delicious... relished every single bite and will surely visit again to try the other menu items... only one regret - why did I forget to order takeaway for dinner :
