Madam Tojo - Arigato ! 

This is a great spot for brunch in southport Brisbane :) on a hot day get the peanut butter banana blueberry smoothie and the grilled aubergine. 

Madam Tojo herself is a great of a little quirky personality. :) 

I just spent the afternoon in bliss here with friends - we ate lots and played this great card game and had a wonderful brunch.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service, ridiculously great food. Check out the decor, I see something new and strange every time I visit. Coffee is consistent and good. The boss herself is always around, and it's nice to see someone with a personality running the place. Comfy couches and chairs, big tables, licensed, air conditioned, always a few people around but rarely full during the week.
 
Bonus points for the background music, it's  never music I've heard before, but it always suits.

The antithesis of a franchise experience. A cafe operated with heart and soul.  Wonderful food and coffee to go with the eclectic decor.
