Stopped by this fantastic cafe yesterday with my family from out of the area. The staff were quick to accomodate us and took our order promptly. Hats off to this venue being cosy, but accomodating to kids/pram with a ramp entry and toilet with baby change table. My only complaint is that sitting inside, the volume of the music was so loud it was hard to carry a conversation most of the time. The coffees were great and the food was fantastic! Great portions, fresh and they made it a priority to make sure our little ones had their food on the table fast. Parking is available on street and timed. Can’t recommend this place enough if you are looking for a cosy cafe to stop by with your family.
This is a fantastic local brunch spot that has delicious fresh dishes and yummy juices. The Kooling Krysta was so good, I love a vibrant green juice! It has banana, mango, spinach, lime juice and coconut milk and was super refreshing.nnWe tried the Wagyu meatball sub and calamari salad and the serving sizes were super generous for both. The calamari salad is a fresh take on lunch / brunch options, with lychee and mango pieces dispersed in the salad. This gave a really nice freshness to the fried calamari. The Wagyu meatball sub was also nice, and it had a delicious marinara sauce.nnWe sat inside but I saw there was a lovely outdoor courtyard too if you want to get a bit of sun
What a hidden gem in the suburb of Mulgrave! It’s a must go if you are around. Super friendly staff, lots of space indoors or outdoors and amazing food to top it up!

Booked for 4 on a sunny Sunday 10:30am. Easy to book online - we booked about a week before.nnWe ordered a side of fries; mains being the fritters with smoked salmon, the chilli scram, the calamari, and the mushroom medley with bacon. We had a pregnant person with us and we didn’t know the chilli scram came with a soft cheese which pregnant people try to avoid - one of the chefs kindly came out to chat to us about why the soft cheese was safe to eat because of the way its made, but he still offered to remake it without it. The customer service was impeccable.nnI had the calamari - the sizes of the calamari were generous - salad went well with it and tasted very fresh. I had no complaints from my companions about their own orders and they said they enjoyed their dishes.nnLater in the afternoon we ordered the katsu french toast as a dessert to share. Ice cream was great, fruits were fresh, presentation was ace - and it was so good with the berry compote. It wasn’t sickly sweet at all so that was nice!nnTotal was about $50 each just short of $200 - 3 of us had ordered 2 drinks total, and some of those had additional types of milk. It was reasonable given the amount we ordered.nnLocation wise - The place is in a spot where I assume a milk bar used to be - there’s plenty of parking around - even the residential streets. As above, staff are super friendly. They have plenty of tables for groups out front, inside, and outside the back. Food is fresh, generously sized, and tastes amazing!
