I've changed my mind and decided to 'return' to my 'old' Vet Surgery on Nebo Rd. I have a few elderly cats, and dr Bill 👨‍🍳☺ with other lovely Vets and Staff, were and are very well taking care of my pets cats. I can highly recommend this Surgery to whoever owns pets. Girls at the counter are very friendly, polite, helpful and professional.☺👌 The Surgery is very handy for people living in West Mackay, also in other near by areas. I am happy with the pricing for services as well. If you own a few pets, and bring them for medicals or else, you can always try and bargain the costs down hey!😊😉Thumbs up!☺👍To Dr Bill, who looked very well after my Siamese- cross male cat 'Ninja-Turtle' hit by car a while ago. Dr Bill examined poor 'Ninja' 😿 a/hrs, gave him a painkiller injection💉 (so 'Ninja' wouldn't suffer*), kept him o/nite🌒☺ In the morng, dr Bill confirmed that 'Ninja's lost 1 front tooth🤤, and that his jaw was broken... 😲😢 But with a smile on his face😊he said, that he's managed to fix it😄, to adjust 'Ninja's' jaw manually!😊😎 Then, dr Bill injected 'Ninja' with 2 weeks of antibiotic 💉, tapped up his broken jaw tightly, with something like a masking tape...Gross?!🤔😨... Just 'kidding' hey!😉😃 Put an 'Elizabethan' collar around 'Ninja's' neck... and 'voilá', my 'Ninja' was ready to go home! I was told that I need to feed 'Ninja' by hand and only wet food, and the collar must stay at least for 3 weeks😨😩 on 'Ninja's' neck...Thx dr Bill!😊🌹 'Poor' 'Ninja'-Turtle' 😿 was whinging and trying everything to get rid of the collar, but to not avail. When I brought 'Ninja-Turtle' back home, other cats firstly sniffed & walked suspiciously 😾around him, (they knew where he has been*) & finally, they went back to mind their own business. 'Ninja' recovered very quickly, and he's back into his mischievous ways chasing rats 🐀🐀 in the drain...But I feel that he's learnt his lesson. He gave up all together on crossing Goldsmith St. Hey!😉😄 I am enclosing a few pics of 'Ninja' who's now 9years old senior cat. I hope that you've enjoyed reading 'Ninja' -Turtle's story?☺🤗 Cheers, from Polish 🇵🇱💒🌲🌻/Aussie 🇦🇺🌴🐬🦈🐨 'vintage' ☺👵and sometimes a 'grumpy' lady. xo

As an 'old' customer of Mackay Veterinary Hospital on Nebo Rd.The Surgery's one of the best in Mackay😁😎. With my love for all creatures, (exept cockroaches, mosquitos, and flies!😲🤤*), I help animals as much as I can. Nowdays, some animals live in a bad conditions & are neglected by their owners☹😦, it's appealing!😲☹👎If you cannot look after your pet properly, provide for them, exercise them, pay for vet's visits and treatments...then please, d o n ' t g e t a P e t !!! 🤤😩🐕🐺🐇🕊🦎🐍🐠. It's irresponsible & cruel. All pets deserve to be loved and taking care of. They trust you & love you unconditionally & they expect the same back!❤ Dr Bill, other Vets, and a lovely Staff at Nebo Rd. AH, are doing marvellous jobs to help our pets problems.😉😘 Me & my partner, have a few cats to love and look after since 2002. We do everything for them.😍😻 They're de-sexed, microchipped, monthly de-fleaded, wormed, etc. They live at home, wonder out in the yard, as well have a safe outdoor enclosure. We keep them locked up at night. 🌒😪😽😸😻 A few years ago, I had to call AH on Nebo Rd. A/Hrs, in emergency, after our 5 years old 'wonderer', rat 🐀 catcher, and a 'drainage researcher'😉 Siamese-Cross male cat 'Ninja-Turtle'😼, has been hit by a car while chasing a tom cat. (Back then,we didn't have a locked up cat's enclosure at the back of our house!🙁*) I was in the garden when I saw it. Our 'Ninja- Turtle' run quickly towards our patio at the back🤤. I run after him, and to my horror! 😱😨 He looked as he was seriously injured. His jaws were hanging down with blood purring everywhere from his mouth!😲😞I called my partner to come & help. I rang Vet on Nebo Rd. A/Hrs Emergency, and dr Bill answered. I told him what just had happened. 'Bring him right now!' So we took 'Ninja' quickly to vet... But before that, my partner somehow had a different idea towards our 'Ninja!🙀😲😨😧 In a calm voice, he talked to him and was giving poor, injured, cat 🙀 the bloody😲 'Last Right's???!!! 😱😨 By saying to him: 'It's OK.' Ninja' for you to go to the 'Rainbow Bridge'. 🌈 Ninja, you are free to do that now???!!!'😨😱😰 I opened my mouth in a shock, while watching Steve's actions. Then I yelled back at him: 'Ninja isn't going anywhere near the bloody 'Rainbow Bridge'...Yet!😤 He's going to vet Bill on Nebo Rd. Now!!! I quickly wrapped up our 'Ninja-Turtle' in a towel. He didn't opposed it at all. I hold him on my lap in the car. Dr Bill was waiting with the door open, and examined 'Ninja'. 'A broken jaw and 1 lost front tooth' - he said. 'I'll keep him over night'. After painkiller injection, dr Bill took him away. We're relived that 'Ninja' would survive. In the morng I went to vet's, and dr Bill told me that 'Ninja' had his jaws bones put back in a 'place' manually by him, and that he should be fine. After injections of antibiotic and painkillers, our cat was allowed to go home, and to come back for stitches removal. As well, 'Ninja's jaws were also all taped up around with... a plastic tape!🤤 Just kidding! 🤗 It was medical tape hey!😊😙 for ... 3 weeks. Dr Bill said to bring him earlier if something goes wrong'... OMG... Poor 'Ninja'😿 and poor me!👵😟😲 I had to put up an ''Elizabethan's Collar' around his neck, feel sorry for him, pat and talk to him. And...feed him by hand, and only a little bit of wet food at the time. He's got lots of TLC. Other cats were in shock to see 'Ninja' with a round, clear collar hanging out of his head and his taped jaw!😨😬 They're understanding though, and after curiously sniffing 'Ninja' around, they knew that he just came from the vet's! All ended up happily thx God. Today, years after 'Ninja's encounter with a car, he still wonders to his drainage across of our house, brings home dead rats, etc. But I think that he's learnt his lesson. He never crosses a busy road to chase tom cats. They say that cats have 9 lives and I believe in that! 😼😻 Now, 'Ninja-Turtle's a mature 9 years old cat, and he stays with other cats around our house, and I like that. Cheers from 'Grazia58Aus ☺
