Easy place for having steak. My steak cooked perfectly. Sweet potato wedge is also good and crisp. Like semi-self service restaurant, order at the counter first then wait at the table, staff will bring you food. service is also good. One downside is that cashier don’t give me a receipt so I have no idea what I have charged for.
We ordered medium but the meat was too cooked. Beef Burger was quite dry too and the chip were hard. I think you can see this in the picture. I don’t know why but my boyfriend recommended this restaurant and he said it had very good meat. Maybe we have to try them again. Oh the salad was excellent!!
Ate here the other evening. Very casual,laid back eatery. Pick your own meat,and they will cook it for you or order one of their burgers. This one was very good. Excellent meat patty, full of slaw and sauce. Tasty and filling. Other party had grilled chicken salad. The chicken was delicious as was the lemon dressing but the salad was too light on,just a handful of lettuce leave,couple cherry tomatoes and olives. Good flavour nonetheless. Meals around $20. The meat is priced by weight I think. We will return.
Went there for lunch after city2surf run - Perfect location to treat ourselves to a feast! Busy place but we secured a table fairly quickly. Ordered some wagyu rump and steamed veggie - Such an amazing feast!
Bad experience on Monday March 21 2022. Ordered 2 rump steaks with salad and some skewers. Rump steaks ordered medium-rare - delivered well done. For the first time in my life, I asked the kitchen to correct. Steaks returned basically raw see photos. We left after eating our admittedly tasty salad and lamb skewers - no need to fight such obvious bad faith. Take my advice and do not come here. Picture of two essentially raw steaks as evidence.
My third time here. 1st time - steak and chips was super super yummy that I knew I'd be back, this time the Ragu Pasta was cooked to perfection and just amazing I hope you keep this on your menu for good as it's divine and more people need to be able to try it! Thank you soooo much
Not bad, but a bit of dry even we ordered medium rare. The mushroom sauce was pretty good. Not a huge fan of the salad.
when you purchase roasted vegetables and you get a bowl of carrot and a slice of onion… I asked it’s meant to be just carrot..and they came back and added a slice of Broccoli .. worst part is I hate carrot…. was incredibly oily too.. I didn’t eat it like seriously who pays never mind charges $9 for a bowl of carrots!Food: 1/5
Amazing!!! It has been six years since the last time I came to Bondi, and this place remain with the same high standard. The best hamburger I ever Had!! Thank you!!Recommended dishes
Ya have to love this place. No matter how many times we come here were are ALWAYS well fed by the time we leave. Nothing fancy about this place you pick you food/ meat at the counter tell them how you want it cooked add a few sides to your order take a seat beside anybody and the food is brought to you. Enjoy good wholesome food cooked the way you like it, go on get in there and try it yourself.
