Mac's Brew Bar

Very nice pub. Lovely beer tried 3 wolves and great white bother excellant well kept beer and pipes must be clean as no after tastes. Also had the burger. Really great lots of it. Staff excellent. Would eat and drink in here again. Very good on prices and real pints.

Nice quiet bar, with interesting lamp decorations! Staff kindly held the bar open a bit later than usual, so our group could enjoy our drinks. Good location at the bottom of town.

Macs Brewbar no longer exists sadly. I loved coming here whenever visiting Auckland, great interior and loved the vibe. The new replacement, The Brit, is a bit of a let down. Very nice and shiny actually very nice fitout but boring, like a renovated RSL and lacks the feeling Macs had.

A great pub experience, with very eccentric fittings - loved the book stands and abundance of lampshades! Buzzing, comfortable and great service. Patrons a wonderfully ecclectic mix. Wish our usual stomping ground, Takapuna, had as enjoyable a spot.

Nice decor and right on the Auckland waterfront. Good range of drinks, pretty pricey but too be expected die is location. Had a meal which was fine, pub food. Should be more stars but place felt sort of soulless and cookie cutter.

Hope you like Mac's beer because those are your only choices .... But semi obvious w their name. Food is decent but not spectacular in my opinion. Do like the limited outdoor seating when it's nice out. Plenty of seating inside always

Cool pub. Sells beers by the pint which is rare for Auckland and New Zealand. Had to ask to get them to put the tv onto the commonwealth games which is why they don't get 5 stars.

Nice beer selection assuming you're here for Macs, and the appetizers were good. Great decor - lamps on the ceiling and photo collages.

Really enjoyed this place. Great inside decor and food was also good. Overall a great place to visit if looking for some where to hang out on a night out.

Nice place ... good food n great options on drinks on tap ... bouncer was a bit racist.. his excuse for not telling us in for the first time was no tables available.. seriously.. then after a bit of convo he let us in ... ruined our night .. that’s y the one star ... wont go thr again.
