Good spot for picnic by the lake, walk, cycling in great mountain trails. If you are lucky, you can see kangaroos. Best time to come on weekdays to wind up. Weekend are busy and crowded.
Just rode through but definitely be back. Looks like a lot of fun bike tracks and kayaking opportunity's. Did not feel like this place was in Melbourne. Getting coastal town vibes here
Beautiful place to go for a long walk! Lots of trails and mini beaches where people can be seen swimming. Amazing view of the lake and just nature in general — wildlife can also be spotted at the scene if you’re lucky! Ran into a few animals which was a pleasant surprise. Very big park.
I love this place it's the best place to go hiking. Park is really big which keeps us all so fit. It's a home to so many wildlife species kangaroos, lorikeet, parrots, butterflies and so on it's very easy to get lost here hiking and go in the opposite direction. Even the aboriginals use to go walkabouts running errands.
Had a quick visit on Monday. Nice lake view. Plenty of parking spaces. Men toilet was a bit dirty but it was not a big issue.
Always great going there for a ride. The tracks and their maps have changed a bit but always enjoyable. Does get very busy from around 10.30am on weekends and public holidays.
Nice single track MTB Trails Technical climbs, couple of nice decents nothing difficult even on the blacks
A slice of paradise so close to Melbourne makes this place a must visit.. Have a picnic at the picnic tables amidst lush greens or by the lake.. Smim at the swimming corner and choose from the many walking trails.. A perfect day trip!!
If you want to see some Kangaroos hopping around you.. then don't miss this amazing Park. It has a lovely trail with beautiful lookouts! Awesome bridge on the river with scenic views
