Our space features soaring ceilings and is the ideal venue for functions.

First time coming to Lux Foundry and it won't be my last time that's for sure. I honestly cannot express how perfect everything was. The coffee was so delicious we ended up ordering another one round of coffee. Now let's talk about the food, probably one of the best I have had. Everything was on point and cooked to perfection, no one of us could fault anything. The serves were decent sizes that none of us felt the need to add any sides and honestly everything was priced reasonably. Lux Foundry is now one of my favourite cafes that I will be visiting regularly.
Visited Lux Foundry for the first time during the week and it was awesome! The cafe is in a converted warehouse that was built in 1889. The staff are really lovely and actually enjoy working there. They have a large courtyard out the front that is very dog friendly very important in Brunswick. I also found the distance between tables quite good and we were easily able to fit our pram next to our table without interrupting anyone else. The coffee was good and their seasonal menu caters to all dietary requirements gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, halal and dairy free. We had the Pulled Pork Benedict, Fried Chicken Burger with added bacon & cheese and a Cookies & Cream Shake . Everything was really fresh and tasty - I think there was a little too much pea smash for my liking but it was still good. I highly recommend visiting this awesome cafe in Brunswick for your next ‘places to lunch’ venture.
Great vibe in a handy Brunswick location serving up classic Melbourne cafe fare. Check out their great expansive outdoor area with brollies which is pet friendly. Great food and coffee. The smashed avo was delicious with the toasted chickpeas providing a little crunch. First visit here. Arrived nice & early at 8am. Coffee is good. I’m told the Lux breakfast roll was tasty. The rice porridge was nice, but personally think it would be a little better with a cinnamon going through the porridge as it would taste too plain if it weren’t for the toppings. It started to get busy around 8.30. Plenty of seats outside with outdoor heaters. Dog friendly.
Loved staying at the balcony with puppy! Friendly staff and pretty looking food. Ordered scrambled egg and crab w/Sourdough, and it wasn't perfectly my style with unexpected herbs smell and texture of bread even though all my other friends enjoyed it. So it's my personal opinion. But the coffee was THE COFFEE, high quality! Recommendable and definitely need to book before heading there,esp weekends
Beautiful spot a short train ride from the CBD in the heart of Brunswick! Both indoor and outdoor seating, set in a relaxed neighbourhood. The waiting staff were very on it, attentive with rapid service. The food was delicious. I had the pulled pork eggs Benedict on hash brown. I don’t normally have a savoury breakfast but it was delicious. The coffee was tasty too, and the drinks menu extensive. Went with a group of friends and they all enjoyed their food. Situated next to the train line so be prepared for this, but did not take away at all for me!
Food was AMAZING, really tasty, would eat here again in a heartbeat. Short wait for a table but worth it. Filling portions & well presented. Worth the price. Lattes & hot chocolate also went down a treat.
2 of us came here for brunch. The initial seating was quick. The rest.of the service was really slow. My bacon and eggs was seriously tastless. I'm not sure how that is possible. But my scrambled eggs had no flavour, there was no creaminess & they tasted like powder. I asked for crispy bacon but the bacon was burnt and smiley, like it was put on a naked flame. No good!! I was really hungry otherwise I'd wouldn't have eaten it. My bloody Mary was spicy but there was no vodka. My friends vegetarian meal was no better. I've been here before and whilst this was a rushed decision as to where to go, my first experience was no better.
Really enjoyed our visit here. Service was efficient and friendly. We came on a cold rainy day with our pup and the outdoor seating was all covered and had heaters so was super comfy. We had the cheeseburger and chicken burger which were both delicious. Only fault was that the coffees could've been hotter
I've now been to Lux Foundry many times and am yet to find a dish that's disappointed. This is an extremely well run cafe with efficient service, quality food and is really well laid out with plenty of outdoor & indoor seating options. To top it off, they're also dog friendly, so you can bring your loyal comrade along as well. Perfect!Food: 5/5
