I ordered a loded wedges with a strawberry milk shake. The milk shake was fantastic, however when i read the menu of the loded wedges it said included bacon and cheese. The cheese was like a fossils, and the bacon was relly hard and chewy. The white thingy you see in the photo is the cheese. It kinda looks like a egg lol
This place appears to have changed hands recently. Prior to Covid my friends and I were regular customers. Very unfriendly new owner male, no greeting, no smile. Just plonked my order down in front of me. There is a lovely cafe opposite who will have my business in the future.
I really didn't expect to be spoken to so rudely by the older dark haired latin? waitress. Yes the place was busy but after she completely ignored me & I walked over to ask whether our coffees were coming, in a polite manner, she raised her voice & rudely told me "they're coming, we're busy". When she came with the coffees I asked if she always spoke to customers in that manner & was met with another very rude & raised voice response being "no but you come everyday & we're busy". I'm a support worker & do come here at least 3 times a week with a client, so yes spend a lot of time & money at your cafe, so you're not doing me any favours, considering I'm the paying customer. After many months of patronage we won't be back.... one bad apple does indeed spoil the whole barrel!!
So my family and I have been coming to this place for a lot of years now and it recently changed hands and unfortunately they don’t have the same standards of the previous owners in customer service and getting people’s orders correct. Real shame that people are not allowing themselves to admit when they’re in the wrong as everybody makes mistakes as we are only human. And new owners act like they don’t want to be here so why don’t they hand over the reins to people that do want to be a thriving business with great customer service.
The staff member who attended to us was so rude. She barely said a word and when she did it was one word only. She strongly appeared to be not happy at all to be of service. They messed up the order also. The coffee was ok. This was before the lunch rush so no excuse for such poor, rude customer service. Would not recommend this place for dining in at all ever.
just left this place because there was a LITERAL SLUG in my dads ceaser chicken salad! Made us feel so sick couldn’t finish the rest of our meals.. took the bowl to the FOH staff and they couldn’t care less and were very rude. There was no apology and when we asked for a refund they short changed us ?? I’ve worked in hospo myself and would never react to/ treat a customer this way. Very strange experience that I hope never happens again.
Went there two days ago to have breakfast, the place has changed owners, new guy is not talkative, very rude. When he was serving the tables he has a shirt of that was covered in swear words on the back, not very professional considering he’s the apparent owner. Bad attitude. It literally felt like us being there was an inconvenience.
When you PAY for a tea for 2 and get 1 tea bag for 2 cups and you ask the gentleman for another tea bag as it’s too weak the look of disgust and his rude attitude took us by surprise. We left and we will be back.
Nice little cafe in Southport. Found the staff to be helpful for our allergy issues. I enjoyed the eggs benny
The asparagus in the breakfast was very old, can not eat at all.The glasses didnot wash,someone's lip stick still there especially in the pandemic.
