4.5 stars.nDon’t get me wrong Lune is pretty overrated and has some fantastic pastry, but I particularly like this venue over the other 2 because it has the entire menu and there’s no 15 minute line in front of the store.nHowever, the only downside is just the price and that the pastries are quite small in comparison to other ones I’ve had like South Melbourne Bakery.nThe pastries here are great! But I’m not sure about going here often to pay 15.50$ for their better pastries that’s not even the size of my palm.nBut, do look out for other reviews of what pastries are worth getting and to avoid.
I'm not usually a big fan of croissants and bakeries, but Lune does it right. We visited because we were in the area and wanted to avoid the long wait times in the city. It’s often busy, but if you can come during off-peak hours, it’s much more manageable. The croissants are soft and perfectly made; they are exactly what a croissant should be. I’m not really a fan of sweet foods, so I didn’t have a favorite, but I did try a ham and cheese croissant, and that was pretty decent.
Lune Croissanterie in Melbourne is truly an institution. Visiting their Armadale branch was a treat-unlike the city location, it wasn't as crowded, so l could try more of their offerings. Known for setting the bar in the art of croissants, Lune has moved beyond just the hype; they've redefined what a croissant can be. Their savory options are exceptional - everything about croissant, and the latest collaboration with Tim Tam brings an amazing texture twist that's mind-blowing. Lune is classic yet innovative, maintaining a high standard that's anything but ordinary.
tried the triple chocolate for the first time in march and it was life changing. it was a whole chocolate overload but i am not complaining. everything about it was perfect; i was only planning to eat half of it there but ended up finishing the whole thing.nnfrom the july specials, we got the two twice baked croissants. both were really good! always love their frangipane fillings
Almond croissant and the lemon one are good.nDecember special Christmas one is so bad because it’s minty, and too sweet and salty at same time. So disappointed :nService I rated 3 stars since whilst they are friendly, there is no phone available.nDefinitely get there early because they sell out fast and when we got there close to closing time they only had plain and Christmas special one.
