Heard that they are the best croissants in Melbourne. Gotta try it out and it is amazing. Came at 7:30am and there’s already a queue, you might want to come earlier if you want to beat the queue, but I waited for about 30 minutes. The croissant were delicious even after keeping and walking around for a day. Initially bought as a snack as we toured our way to Phillip Island, but did not get to eat it until night time. Surprisingly it was still so good. The croissants are big. Can’t say which is my favourite. I love all the flavours.
Best croissants in Australia. Perfectly crispy and buttery, if you have it slightly warm, it's undoubtedly a melt in your mouth moment. I'd definitely recommend getting at least one pastry per person because you won't want to have less. I don't enjoy the cupcake pastries as much as the others, but for curiosity sake, worth a try. Not a great place to dine in ambience isn't that great, probably better to take away to a nice park to sit and enjoy.
Love this simple place to enjoy the claimed world best croissant. I am not a bread person but this is really good and I went back to the main Fitzroy street to buy some home . Love the blue cheese one the most! The almond is my next love and then the one with ham. Simple cafe with coffee and croissant to make my day! One cost around AuD 10 and is not cheap. I believe lots of effort to make one, so worth to pay! Great food and love it!
Good looking croissant, however not worth waiting in line for it. I also find it pretty pricey for what it is , it’s flaky , photogenic but missing some fillings. So grab one if there is no line and if you have no other options other you’ll be fine if you do not try it. The standard croissant in my opinion is the best, plan simple and no fuss.
Some of the best pastry I have ever had. The almond croissant was amazing. There is a line to order, but it is worth the wait. The coffee was also good. There are tables at the shop to eat, but you need to stand this is probably because the shop is so busy.
Match made in heaven! Beautiful selection of croissant and croissant style pastry matched with the Supreme coffee roasters. Don't get scared by the line outside - it is long but moves quickly. I had a few questions regarding the selection, and all questions were answered patiently and politely. Great friendly and speedy service. These are some of the best croissants in Melbourne.
Just buttery masterpieces waiting to be eaten. Yes the line is long, but I do say that it's worth the wait!!! It's just something you'll have to try yourself. I haven't had anything that quite matches how good these are, but the almond croissant excels all other ones by miles
One of the best croissants around in Melbourne! Rich and buttery with thick fillings. My favorite would be the almond croissant. Nice industrial looking space and usually packed with people as well. The best croissants in Melbourne . Highly recommend it! l love apmond croissant. Wow! Well deserved title for World’s best croissant!
July 2022 Special are the best! Carrot cake and Marble are amazing! Especially the carrot cake, if you are carrot cake lover do not miss it! My friend and I love all combinations of carrot cake croissant that you can't find from anywhere else. Ham and cheese also Almond are always my favourite to take away. The line always take half an hour. I recommend to visit before 10 am, so you will have more chance to buy all available flavour. Order for pick up isn't availble for both Melbourne branches anymore. Lune croissant never go wrong, few years has passed since before covid but the flavour never change.
Delicious! Not too sweet, not too buttery, just the right amount of flaky layers and soft chewy croissant! And not soggy like some store bought ones! I went on a weekday around 10.30am and there was already a line. I was willing to wait as I'd planned my morning to try Lune but others might not have the time. And the wait wasn't too long. The staff were friendly too. It was definitely the most tastiest and most expensive croissant I've ever tried. There was a huge cookie croissant for $14.50!! I think worth trying at least once for those curious. I would certainly indulge again as a treat.
