The serving sizes here are super generous, we had two items from the snack menu, one from the next one up and one main and side between two people and we were bursting. Cocktails were delightful especially the pandan one and wine carafe is a great idea. We were served by Elliot who was so accommodating, friendly and fun. All in all nothing negative to report!
This spot is a gem. Could write an extensive review as we've been a few times now but suffice to say the food, drinks and service have met high expectations each time. When the only criticism is that the portions could be larger for sharing pastas cough cough... well, enough said, it's delicious.
Had a good time here! Service from AJ was just perfect. Funny, friendly, very accommodating - a true legend.nnFood was pretty good overall, but servings weren’t overly generous. The mussels were excellent, but we’d suggest serving with bread to mop up the sauce. The sardines were delish, but very small serving. The sausage pasta was tasty, but not completely balanced.nnI’d come back but only if the servings were a bit more generous
Used our voucher gifted to us by our darling niece and nephew. Didn’t feel intimidated when I inquired about using it. Got given the most gracious and attentive service. The food was amazing the drinks were amazing and couldn’t fault anything really. Some said it was loud. We were looking for a GOOD lunch on a Thursday afternoon and noticed that Bar Lune was in the Eat Club app. Offering a discount between 12pm - 3pm for eating in, it was the perfect opportunity to try this well-talked about restaurant out.nnGeorgina was our server and an absolute delight. Happy to have a chat and a laugh, she really added to our lunch experience and, best of all, makes a great cocktail as well.nnAs for our eating and drinking…nnWake & Shake Cocktail - VODKA, COFFEE LIQUEUR. ORANGE LIQUEUR, ESPRESSOnn.**No skimping on alcohol with this drink, it definitely lived up to its name..**nnEATSnMACADAMIA LABNEH, CHILLI CRISP, CUCUMBER, FOCCACIAnn**A lovely, creamy dish that brings a bit of heat and pairs well with the crunchy, toasted focaccia**nnWAGYU SIRLOIN 300G. PICKLED ONION, GREMOLATA, JUSnn**perfectly cooked, I was worried this steak was a little thin. It was bursting with flavour though and an absolute treat to eat.**nnGRILLED CABBAGE, NUOC CHAM, FRIED GARLICnn**Come for the cabbage stay for the nice cham. The dressing on this side order was the star of the show, so much so that I could have eaten another serving of this often criticises veggie.**nnWe may have been the first ones in the restaurant but had the privilege of choosing the music I chose ‘cruisey’ tunes’, having a great meal and having a great laugh and chat with Georgina. That’s all I want from a lunch!
