I am sorry to say this place is overpriced & a lack of service - you get shown your x-rays as they are ushering you out the door. I have been with Lumino for years throughout NZ but both local branches offer a disappointing experience. My partner found another dentist, more cost-effective and exceptional service on Kapiti Road. He was also a Lumino patient and had an issue with his tooth - they said it was fine. The tooth was cracked and fell out - he went elsewhere to get it looked at. I am sorry to write a bad review - but money is tight for a lot of people & services like this need to ensure if their rates are higher than average, so is their level of care.

Dentistry side fine, accounts and quote very very poor.nQuoted $1300-$1500 so expected price to be within that range but was charged $1700.nProblems with account and I am still waiting to have it sorted 6 weeks later.

I have now been there several times, including once for an emergency appointment - I found Dr Kim excellent on both occasions and felt I was in safe hands and kept me well informed before and after procedures. Thank you.

Just had first major work since teen braces 40+ years ago. Dr Rachel did a fantastic job, informed, gentle,  repair and extraction with no post unpleasant aftermath. Phew and big thank you. Didn't hurt the wallet as much as I thought it would too.

very disappointed, went in with one of my friends today to just get a normal checkup before turning 18, the reception lady was quite literally the rudest person i have ever met, made my friend cry because of her attitude. was screaming to her face and being more than rude, she was then told ridiculous things like she can’t breath through her mouth otherwise it’ll make her teeth go bad, for all the parents out there if you are thinking about sending your child here alone don’t do it. they treat kids awfully and we know kids wouldn’t be treated this way if their parents were with them. shame on this reception ladyso upsetting that people have to act this way towards others
