This suburban restaurant is deserving of the highest praise. The lamb dish was superb as were pasta, veal dishes and desserts. Staff absolutely lovely. Atmosphere very stylish and comfortable. Highly recommend this restaurant
We were sadly a bit disappointed with our dining experience here. We came for a Narkoojee wine lunch and were excited because of the rating of the restaurant and the quality of the wine. The wine was excellent but the meal wasn’t quite up to the mark. The prawn remoulade on savoury tartlet was pleasant enough but far from exceptional. The barra fillet on cauliflower purée had its good and bad points. The fish itself was good but tbh I found the purée to be a little sickly and unpleasant and I struggled to finish it. Peppe’s Duck Breast for main was a very frustrating dish. The duck didn’t seem properly cooked and it was very tough and chewy to eat. The accompanying “cassoulet” was quite nice and tasty. There was a little murmuring around our table as a bit of bread none was provided would have helped mop up the sauce and round out the dish. The concluding cheese plate had its ups and downs too. While the firm Brie was a good sound choice, the Dutch goat cheese wasn’t the best option in my opinion and that view was shared in our group. The crackers were beauties though. Service was good throughout the meal, and wine service particularly was very good. The managers and staff were very active and hard working. But overall, this was not quite the experience we were after on this occasion
Silv and his team are amazing. Food incredible. This is our local restaurant. We had my father's 90th birthday here and the team set the restaurant up to fit our guests. Menu selection was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I loved the atmosphere, the soft music and the fact that the restaurant was a easy to talk. The staff and the owner are all friendly and caring. The food presentations were good too. I had a Arancini mushroom perfect and Barramundi fillet which didn't have much taste to me, but I also tried from my partner's slow cooked beef cheek which was very nice. Enjoyed the night with friends and I would recommend the place for a nice calm night out with family and friends.
Was my first time trying a restaurant in the east and it was beautiful! We were the first people in and last out and from the start we were served amazingly! Started with the beautiful calamari that was slated to absolute PERFECTION! This has to be the best salt and pepper calamari I’ve ever had! Crunchy, salty and with the squeeze of lemon made it to die for!nI ordered the veil and was not a fan but nonetheless everything else was spectacular, to the soft music playing to allow conversation and the immaculate service where my water cup never saw empty!nHighly recommend this place for a nice sit down dinner with friends, partners or family!
