A throwback to the 1930ties. Plenty of nostalgia inside. The staff were very pleasant as well. Breakfast was very good and loved the bacon. All at a decent price.
Do yourself a favour and turn off the highway and take a drive into Kempsey. Lou's is excellent for breakfast. The breakfast itself was very welcomed and tasty, the coffee is terrific and the service efficient and most importantly, done with a smile. Thanks Lou's we will see you again. Top notch
I have been dining at Lous for many many years.and I have always enjoyed my meals. To day I had Garlic Prawns with garlic toast and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
I paid for a scotch fillet and got a a very thin minute steak. Very average. Please do better if you want people to write good reviews
Always nice to dine in at Lou's place. The staff are always respectful with fast service and a smile. I would recommend anyone travelling through Kempsey to stop for a feed at Lou's restaurant
This is one of the must visit places in Kempsey. You’ll be spewing if you miss it! Great country service, massive mugs of awesome coffee and a sprawling menu to boot! If you’re a Sydneysider or a tourist making your way up or down the East coast you’ve got to take the trip into Kempsey just for a little sit down break at Lou’s!
This diner-style cafe has an awesome Art Deco vibe - it felt like a portal into an older world. That being said, the waitress used a tablet, the food came quickly the works burger is huge and it was delicious. I’d expect to pay a lot more for the same meal in Sydney too. Great surprise find!
Great customer service and good meals. Every one was treated well, no matter what age.
