I am a commercial builder. I made the mistake of ordering a spare part for a Lotus door from Lotus Doors in Dandenong. This was to carry out a door repair for a customer.nI needed it to be posted, because I am in a rural area 140km from Melb.nI paid for the item & the postage & handling an extra $45 up front, on the day of the order.nOver 2 weeks later, I had NOT received the part, nor had I receieved any communication from ANYONE at Lotus Doors.nAfter the first 10 days, with no delivery, I emailed Lotus, but no received no response. Then at nearly 2 weeks, I emailed Lotus again and received a very vague response, but still no delivery.nSo I phoned them, but no one was available to help me? The next day I phoned again, only to discover that they had failed to send my order, so they hurriedly dispatched it that day.nI called my customer with the broken door, to inform them of yet ANOTHER DELAY in repairing their door, but they cancelled the order because they were very upset at having to wait so long. Something I can relate to!!!!nI know things can go wrong, but the consistently pathetic service I received from Lotus Doors, can only be described as disgusting.
Most unprofessional company to work with. I ordered a $25 K operable wall nearly 2 years ago. moved into premises 9 months ago. Still the project is not done!!
Placed an order for 1 wall in August, received it mid December - and it was too big...….. Generally speaking I have been astonished by their management system and inexistent client communication.nIf you can avoid them it will save you frustration and embarrassment.
Worst company to deal withnNever return calls.nLook elsewhere
We have used Lotus operable walls in schools projects - excellent product and service, and easy for the client to operate.
